Finally, I have a way to store and rate my favorite cocktail recipes! This app has been a game changer for me. I have a place to document all the one-off cocktail recipes I find and love. The premium version has been 100% worth it to me—there is a very large variety of very good cocktail recipes loaded into the app and it’s introduced me to a lot of great recipes. And the cherry on top is the cute pixel style for your recipes and items in your bar. What more could a girl want?! :)

Bartender’s Review
I’ve had Mixel almost as long as I’ve been a bartender. I bartend in Scotland, which unfortunately, has very rigid laws with regards to alcohol content in drinks.
Mixel has been a resource I’ve used for years, the base (free) content in the app is a fantastic source of inspiration, and a very quick and easy resource to use to find specs for off menu drinks, the paid additions add even more recipes and content.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this app to anyone that is interested in cocktails, wether it’s bartending at home for friends or for finding inspiration for a new menu at work, Mixel is a great resource I’d highly recommend.
Specifically, the ability to manually add the products in your home/work gantry and to get a percentage match for ingredients is incredible.
My only critique would be a lack of specific products (eg “Berry vodka (ciroc red berry, raspberry absolute, etc)” or “Vanilla Vodka (eg Smirnoff vanilla, Absolute Vanilla, etc)” however, you can add ingredients to the app manually.
9/10, would and have recommended!

Get this of you like flavors
Love it, I have had my cocktail awakening through this app, it was recommended to me by a friend and I have had a lot of great drinks from here. I would love for there to be a new tab or area in here for community recipes that you could add to your regular recipes tab from other users.
Lost everything
Premium subscriber with a Mixel account. Got a new phone, opened Mixel and signed into my Mixel account to find that I’ve lost all of my recipes, bookmarks, favorites, inventory, etc. I am NOT pleased.
Keyboard Covers Links
I have been a paid subscriber to this wonderful app for a while, but the most recent update has a glitch that needs to be addressed. The keyboard rises up to cover parts of the screen that you need to click on in order to follow links and make the recipes. There does not seem to be a way to get rid of it. Please fix this! Thank you. I literally can’t access some of the information because the keyboard covers it.

Have used & loved the app for years! Recently saw the addition of Bart. Can I disable or remove this? I don’t want any generative AI messing up your brilliant app. Thanks!
Great app with just two feature request
I love the app so much. It has tons of cocktails and allows me to see what I can make based on what I tell it I have and I love that I can write original recipes in app. However, unlike the cocktails that are featured in the app plus the extra when you pay for the app,’the original recipes don’t show the amount of dilution for the drink which is my only request for the app. The other request is to select the drinks you want to add to a cocktail menu.

Lifetime is so Expensive
Ok, I’ll begin by saying this app’s UI and its premium recipe list are fantastic. I love the style and the ingredient maximizer is a great feature. However, the lifetime subscription is pricey, especially since there are records of the lifetime price being far less than $50. It’s just so expensive…
Fun to use, well-made
It’s a simple idea that was well-designed and well-built. I like the pixelated art style, I like building out my bar, and it’s fun to look up cocktails or add my own. My only request is a wider library of cocktails to search from, but at least it’s easy to add my own.
Great App but could be better
I would love to have a option for printing a personalised cocktail menu just with only a few selected cocktails and not the whole list, like Martini, Long Island, Side Car, etc. from my "What's in the bar" filter.

Best cocktail app around
Love this app, and I’ve tried a few. Happy to pay and access across devices. Would love API level and web access to my bars, and the recipe search could use some work, but it’s still great. Keep it up!
It’s mid
Not the worst bar app but not the best. I’m underwhelmed by the only purchase options - either $2/month or pay the same (a laughable $0.01 savings) annually but NO lifetime option??? That would really make this a 5 star app! For the free version I only get access to maybe 200 basic recipes from lots of sources based on my personal well-stocked bar, so your results will vary. There are apparently “thousands” of locked recipes which require subscription. Based on very basic recipes I’ve seen so far it’s not very value added. This would be the best app if I could pay once now then opt in (to pay again or not) for future expansions. It’s just ok.

Truly my favorite app and has been for years. I’ve had it since it first came out! I believe I heard about it on Reddit directly from the developers when they were introducing it and looking for feedback.
It’s clearly made by cocktail geeks and I LOVE that about it. The aesthetic is also perfection.

Fantastic App
This app is fantastic. First, it has all the drink recipes I could hope for … the standards, the exotic, the contemporary trends. Second, the app makes navigation a breeze; it’s easy to find drinks to make, or to find what bottles will have the biggest impact when added to my bar, or to find the drinks that I already love. Third, I love the social component, being able to rank drinks, see which drinks rank highly, and to get community feedback about recommended tweaks to a drink.
