What's New in MixTape Jr

1.02

September 26, 2026

The tape keeps rolling! A new Keep Screen Awake switch in Settings lets the screen drift off while the music keeps going, so the battery lasts longer. Lock the phone or switch apps and the music plays right on, smoother than before. New lock screen controls let you pause, skip, and scrub without unlocking, with the song and cassette name right there.

Great subscription free app for kids

Woah! I can finally use all that music I downloaded back in the day. All those mp3 files - now my kids can listen to them too! And THERES NO SUBSCRIPTION!

I love how easy it is to use. Tip - everything is located in your files app, not the phone’s music app. This is a plus because the kids don’t know how to navigate my personal audio library, only the audio I make available to them :)

Super cute too! So glad I found this app. Great for the kids!
