This release is all about giving you more control, clarity, and comfort—both when you’re messaging and when you’re hosting or discovering Mixxers. With 7 major improvements, we’ve introduced new Mixxer privacy options, a smoother keyboard experience, smarter event sharing, and more visibility control across the board. 1. Invite-Only, Hidden: Say Hello to Private Mixxers You can now host Private Mixxers that are totally invisible to the public—no feed, no search, no recommendations. Only invited users can see or join, and even profiles will hide them unless you’re attending or hosting. Key highlights: • Private Mixxers don’t show up anywhere unless you’re invited • Invites must be accepted as usual • Private Mixxers only appear in your profile if you’re involved 2. New “Friend-Only” Mixxers for Inner Circle Vibes Want to make your Mixxer visible—but only to your friends? Use the new “Friend-Only” toggle when creating your event. It appears in all the usual sections (like Featured and Friends), but only your friends can see or join. • A clear “Friends Only” label lets others know what’s up • Non-friends won’t see these events, even via direct links • Perfect for keeping it casual but curated 3. Visual Badges for Private & Friend-Only Mixxers To avoid any mix-ups, Private and Friend-Only Mixxers now come with subtle new badge labels in the feed. They’re styled with Mixxer’s signature browns, so you’ll always know what’s public and what’s exclusive at a glance. 4. Keyboard Got You Trapped? Not Anymore. We’ve introduced a smooth new keyboard glide interaction in chat. Now, instead of the keyboard snapping open or closed, you can gently slide it up or down with your finger—perfect for adjusting your view without interrupting your flow. It’s a subtle but powerful UX upgrade that makes conversations feel way more natural. 5. Share Like a Pro: Smarter Deep Links for Mixxers Sharing your Mixxer on socials now shows off your event in style. Deep links now generate rich previews with the correct title, description, image, and link—but only when it makes sense. • Hosts and attendees of public Mixxers get custom share previews • Sharing by attendees is disabled for Friend-Only and Private Mixxers, giving hosts full control over visibility • Messaging is personalized based on your role and event type 6. Enter URLs with Confidence We’ve expanded support for valid links in URL fields, so you can now include popular domains like .org, .ai, .school, and many more. No more “invalid link” errors on trusted sites. 7. Smarter Scheduling: Lead Time & Timing Fixes We’ve revamped how Mixxer handles start times, especially for next-day events and late-night scheduling. Here’s what’s improved: • Lead time is now based strictly on the current date and time • You’ll no longer hit errors when planning Mixxers around midnight • End times are no longer restricted for late-night events—host as long as you want, even past midnight • Cleaner UI logic ensures only valid dates and time options show up, depending on when you're scheduling Whether you're setting something up tonight or planning ahead, scheduling now works exactly the way it should.
