• Every surah remembers where you were: Read al-Baqarah to verse 120, dip into al-Nasr, come back: you are at verse 120 again. That goes for reading and listening, in the app and in CarPlay, and they work together: what you listened to in the car is open in the mushaf at home. Rather start over? One tap on "From the start" as the surah opens. Can be turned off in the Quran settings. • Find your way through the mushaf: Under the page there is now one slider for the whole Quran, with a tick at every juz. Drag it and you see which page, surah and juz is under your finger; let go and the book opens there. Tap "Al-Baqarah · Juz 1 · Page 6" to pick a surah, a verse, a juz or a page number directly. And turning pages: tap the left edge of the page for the next one, the right edge for the previous one. The middle shows or hides the controls, as before. • An open book on iPad and in landscape: On iPad the page is now as large as the screen allows, with the line spacing of the printed book, so no mark ever runs into the line beneath it. Turned sideways the mushaf lies open like a real book: two pages side by side, the odd page on the right and the even page on the left, exactly as in the printed Madinah mushaf. Turn your iPhone and you get one wide page in large print that you read top to bottom. Nothing is stretched or squeezed anymore.
