Decent but has some bugs
Good questions, just very hard to highlight within questions and answers. Would super appreciate more responsive or tweaking of this feature!

Highlight, colors, underline, split screen
It would be great if you could add highlight mode where you could highlight as you read instead of highlighting the text first, and more colors would be useful.

Long time user
Been using MKSAP for long time. Used it to study for my initial board test, used it for recertification test. App has made it super easy to study on the go, during downtime at work. It’s also super easy to submit for CME and MOC.
One thing I wish they would update is ability to zoom more for images, specifically EKG. Image is too small, and without ability to enlarge more, it’s impossible for me to see details of EKG on the questions.
Also, I wonder if it would be possible to be able to see all the tables at the end of each section. They are full of information, but it’s hard to high light them for review later on.
Lastly, need to be able to edit notes.
I look forward to MKSAP 19 to come out later this year.

As always - MKSAP delivers
MKSAP has always been one of my favorite self-education programs. I highly recommend the MKSAP complete program from ACP to all medical specialties. Sure the app could improve. However, it is the content that really counts. Many user requests have been addressed, highlighting, font size, ... The one stop shop for ensuring board (re-)certification. Awesome!

Assignments
My program gives us assignments of specific questions that we need to complete as a requirement for our education. These assignments show up on the desktop version but not in the app. I do the vast majority of my studying on my phone (like with UWorld) - PLEASE make these assignments available in the app.

No “assignments” tab
My residency assigns questions in MKSAP. There is no way to review and complete assignments. Simply no option for it. This really limits my use of the app. Please please please fix as soon as possible.
Landscape mode broken!
Since update the landscape mode is broken. App is good except that it remains in portrait mode. Please fix this!

Screen does not rotate on iPad
MKSAP is great but it’s annoying that the screen does not rotate on the iPad.
Not able to rotate the screen
After the most recent update, the application does not rotate the screen to be able to view in landscape mode.
Landscape mode not working on IPad Pro
Please fix orientation issue of the app on updated version. It’s hard to read on portrait mode on iPad.
Straight forward and easy to use (though less though than before)
The layout and interface make the app very easy to use and navigate. However, after the recent update, the app no longer works in landscape mode and can only be used in portrait mode.

After the last update, for me took effect approx 18 hours ago. Any idea how to go back to previous version?
Good interface, new bug
Good interface, generally easy to use. However, as of today the screen remains in portrait mode irrespective of how my device is turned. Perhaps an unintended consequence of the most recent update?
Highlighting
Please fix the highlighting issue on iOS. I have to choose the same text AT LEAST 3-4x and click the highlight option before it finally highlights. It’s incredibly frustrating.
Need highlighting function improved.
I like the app but the highlighting function doesn’t work properly. I have to select highlight many time before it actually highlights. This function works great on computer but app it sometimes takes many attempts before I can highlight what I want to highlight. I am taking 1 start away for that reason.

Functionality
I’m assigned monthly sets of questions, that I can only do on a PC. The app could easily add the ability to do those questions on iPad or iPhone, but for some reason, quizzes that are assigned by GME have to be done at a computer. I’m baffled at how much this doesn’t read like a book, give you a page count, or allow the same functions as a pc.

Terrible on ipad
The highlighter works once every 4-5 times, making it’s use very very time consuming and frustrating. This has been an issue for months, but has not been fixed. For something that costs as much as MKSAP, especially to medical residents who can barely make ends meet, makes my disappointment bigger.
Assignments Tab Needed
My residency program uses custom assignments function on the website to tailor questions to each resident based on what rotation a resident is on. But the app itself does not have anyway to access these assignments. Would be great if this function could be added to eliminate the need to sign in on the browser. Split-screen functionality would also be useful on iPadOS. Otherwise a decent port of this content to iOS.
