Ok app but not my favorite
Every time a new article is posted I need to sign in again to read it. Same person, still a subscriber, but constantly needing to sign in is a pain in the neck.
Dislike the Changes
Whatever you did to the format, this is NOT good! O used to be able to choose the newspaper whose obituary I’m interested in reading, but now all the names are listed together from all over the place. And one in particular that I wanted to read told me that I had to be a subscriber to read that one. 😡 WHY change

Spouse and I have subscribed continuously for years. After latest update unable to read subscriber stories even after deleting app and reinstalling and clicking restore purchase… over and over and over. Going back to the Detroit Free Press.

This platform used to be wonderful for getting Michigan news it has gradually gotten worse over the years there are now near zero articles you can view without a subscription
Good but legal coverage could be improved
I think MLIVE does a great job covering most things in our state. One place they could improve is on their legal/crime coverage. They often quote the prosecutor but rarely quote or identify the defense attorney. I think the coverage could be more balanced.
Impossible app
I have to sign in for every story and still get ads to join. And the family feature doesn’t work at all. My husband has been on the phone and emails 14 times and no resolution

i have a subscription and i want to cancel it, but there’s no way to do it. no one to contact. no letters to the editor to express my disgust with what they choose to entice me with in my emails. no phone number to call. no email address to use. when they send an email with a link to a story i can’t read it until i sign in. of i go to the app to look for the story, its no where to be found. there cant possibly be enough positive reviews for them to have more than two stars. they are really awful. i’m being stolen from because i have no way to cancel my subscription. to hell with this business. it’s a rip off.

Slow to load, laggy articles, clickbait-y articles.
Crashes constantly and…
… Limited filtering & searching. Not great for a paid app.
glitches make app unusable
I click a notification to read a story and the app opens, freezes, and crashes. If I want to actually read a story, I have to search for it myself in a browser. Sometimes the app will work for a moment but then it will freeze and crash. I’ve reinstalled, updated, and everything—this has been an ongoing issue.

Garbage paywall app!
Huge fail and no doubt why this media has failed . Click bait on most stories and then you get the paywall. Very liberal and anti Trump/America First hack reporting. Every story/event they want to charge you for is always available for free elsewhere. The UK based Daily Mail will have better coverage on local news events than this steaming pile of waste called MLIVE!

How can it be this bad?
Like others say, used to be great but for last 9 months or so it takes forever to load, crashes and is very slow. Must be their way of trying to force subscriptions.
Crashes
Gets progressively worse with each update. It won’t load without numerous attempts. If it does load, it will crash while looking at an article. There is no way I would subscribe to this nearly useless app.

Totally not loading. I got it to load once and it froze. Tried it again…black screen every time. Good thing I don’t pay for this!!
