Not working since new update
This is just to let you know it’s not working. When I type a word in search it glitches out and when I can finally play a sermon, when the screen goes out on the phone, it stops playing. iPhone 16
New Update Issues
Since the new update I can’t press the power button to switch the screen off as the sermon stops or if I leave the screen on it stops after about 3 mins when my screen times out.
I’m on my iPhone 12 so not sure if it’s better on other phones. Wasn’t an issue with the last update and been listening for a couple of months.
Great app other than that and great teaching. Hope it gets sorted then I can get back into the Armour of God series.

To the one who wondered where else they could listen to his sermons
You can listen to the sermons on the mljtrust.org website , as well as on YouTube . From what you’re saying I’m actually happy that it will restart … because for me it used to keep loading all the sermons and take a while to load up so I feel this update will be beneficial
Cannot see the sermon playing.
This is a very frustrating app. There’s nothing to be found in the way of a player where you can pause, go back or move forward. A basic function of the app is missing entirely.
MLJ is my favorite preacher of all time. It’s a shame that this app is so poorly designed.

I love all the content! The sermons are life giving and instructive!
But…Since the last update the app has become almost unusable. Usually it diverts me back to an old sermon I listened too a long time ago and won’t let me start a new one. Now it won’t open at all.

Good content, app needs work
I love listening to the sermons. The app is very glitchy. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times over the past year. Like the previous review mentioned, it’s getting more difficult to listen to the sermons because of app crashes and issues.
What Happened?
This most recent update has made this app very difficult to use. I used to be taken automatically to where I left off in a sermon when I closed the app last time. Now every time I return it starts at the beginning. Please undo what you did!
Update: Guys, this is getting worse! I'm losing patience. Now I can't pause the sermon without the playback goes back to the beginning. This shouldn't be this hard! Is there any way to listen to these sermons WITHOUT using this app?

Life changing
MLJ sermons have blessed me immensely! I have learned so much from him. He was a straight forward man who never shied away from the truth. He loved our Lord. I listen all the time and am so thankful for this app.
Tech issues with #SD01
For some reason I am unable to play again this sermon. It does not load. It shows the preview but the time remain at zero.
Doesnt work
I downloaded this app to my i pad several years ago, but ended up deleting it as the downloaded content just would not play. Tried again today, and despite the passage of 2 years it is still the same. Downloaded first 5 sermons from MLJ’s Romans series, and went to play them in the car only to find out none of them will play. Cant be the ipad, as I have a new device since the original problem. Deleted it and it will stay deleted now.

Love MLJ however the app is not very smooth
I find it if I play a sermon and can’t play. It often gets stuck. The new UI looks much nicer but it doesn’t look like it’s been reviewed for all phones, for example some menu items are hidden when you’ve played a sermon but you can’t hide the control that shows the play pause button. Would love it if this was easier, the website unfortunately is quite similar. It’s great that it’s on Spotify but the sermons aren’t in playlists which would make it much easier to search for things

Used to work fine, but now I can’t play anything on it. I press play, and it then pauses after 1-2 seconds. Fix it 🙏🏻
Great App
The latest version runs well with Apple Car Play, wired or wireless. Previously it was a bit hit and miss, especially with wireless. Great audio quality considering the sermons are from the 1960s. Very best balanced preaching of the Gospel. With every sermon/lesson the Gospel is presented with passion, precision, logic and fire. One of the great men of God, who has no equal today. Today the Gospel is rarely preached, instead we have a watered down version in the church. Sermons today are mostly wishy-washy how to live the Christian life etc, which is a travesty.

MLJ app
I am really thankful for all the sermon how they preserved it and digitally restored ten and made it available to us freely. All the sermons very powerful, Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones is a greatest preacher of all time.
