Login failure
Unlike other major sport apps, MLS forces you to create an account. Then it fails to create an acct so I cannot use it. Guess I’m not a soccer fan now.
No thanks.
Can’t even open the app without creating an account.
Team score updates delayed
Recently the score updates for the Whitecaps Games aren’t for many hours after the game is completed or not at all. The rest of the app seems to be okay.
I'm not creating an account
Required account creation just to open the app. I want to see standings and stats. Not get daily emails and have my information sold.
Prove it
Tell me, what's the point of offering live activity notifications when they don't update on their own? I mean, I did get the halftime push notification for the game; however, the live activity notification still indicated the game is at 45+3'. Shame
Kinda pointless
Shows basically the same info as ESPN or other sports apps and I prefer the Apple Sports app for live scores. You should at least be able to hear each team’s different radio broadcasts but this app will only take you to Apple TV.
Drained 30% of my battery in the background doing... what exactly?!
The performance of this app is egregiously bad. How does it waste so much battery even with background activity disabled? I'm deleting it and switching back to FotMob which is fast and doesn't obliterate battery.
Ugh
For a new football fan, the abbreviations only aren’t helpful
There isn’t a calendar style schedule of matches, have to endlessly scroll
Match times don’t show what timezone
There’s more. Maybe check the Blue Jays app - super clean and easy to navigate

Potential
There is no option to NOT create an account please add a front page skip feature
But it is great there it a app

Great app
This app is amazing! If you’re like me and miss a match sometimes.. mls app provides live scores and goal clips seconds after a goal is scored!
BS
You have to create an account and give them all your personal information just to check scores? What a bunch of garbage. I deleted it.
So little news
Just almost no news. Can’t find out about player injuries. Very little information.
Account
And we wonder why the game doesn’t grow as fast as others…can’t even use the app without an account. All the other Big Four don’t require an account. Just want to follow the league.
One thing missing is MLS Next Pro Scores!
Great app, love the recent update and it’s nice having an app that just focused on what MLS teams are competing in. Would love to see MLS Next Pro added so I can track Crown Legacy!
Needs Following improvement
I can only follow up to 6 teams including my favorite. I wish I could follow all teams.
League is a joke
When it’s obvious that refs call what their star players want instead of using their own eyes. Not gonna renew, dying league before it could even take off. SMH
Unnecessary and Soul-less
Get this app if you want to check some scores, see a few highlights, read AI generated articles, and not play any fantasy soccer games. As the league has grown they have become more concerned with profit than content, community, and creating MLS “sickos” who are obsessed with the league. They scrapped their podcast, dumped writers who care about the league, shut down their fantasy game, got rid of local media coverage for teams, all to make a few bucks. It’s a soul-less app for a league on its way to becoming soul-less.
TLDR: You don’t need this app

No Good Analysis
MLS had good writers and podcasts, but now they are gutting them for AI slop. Seeing some of the errors makes me upset, because they had good writers. Well after years, I finally deleted the app and I will look elsewhere for better analysis without AI slop.
