Terrible user interface design
I have been using the App Store since its opening and have never written a review until now. This app is so annoying that I need to come here to complain.
I have been a very long term HKEJ reader. This app could be pretty good but for two main things - 1. the articles list keeps shifting and shifting non-stop due to the advertisement placements which keep changing non-stop. When you try to click on an article to read it, very often you would have clicked on some other articles instead as the original one has been shifted to somewhere else (very often outside of the screen!) already by the ads. 2. Also the ads are intrusive and keeps popping out obstructing your article and they sometimes open safari automatically and take you out of the app. These are driving me crazy.
As a paid subscriber this is really unacceptable. I will cut my subscription if the user interface is not fixed.
I also subscribe to the Financial Times and it's app is so much better.

Cannot open this app under ios6
Full of bugs
It doesn't work at all. I made the app installation but no icon appeared in my iPad. No way can I reload the programme again. Worst of all, it crashes every time download of content is required for the previous version. This triggered me to make an app update and created an even bigger problem for me.
Pls fix it ASAP. It is very very inconvenient for subscriber like me!

Old iPad version took very long time to download the daily paper content for offline reading. The new version fixed this problem by trimming the downloading content. Yes, the download speed is much faster but what is it for paid subscribers. Creative bug fixing!

Worse than before
Downloads do not start very often
Keep crashing when starting up
The app worked once then wouldn't start up anymore. Reinstall multiple time and still the same.
Useless on ios 5.1
Used to work well but once iPad 2 is upgraded to ios5.1, it just keeps crashing and cannot even start it up. reinstalled and it worked once. next day, keeps crashing again. please fix this. it is useless as it stands now.
