I love how the app gives photos a variety of “painting quality” styles. Friends love it when I send them images I created with Mobile Monet!
Rocky start, but really like the app
This is the first app I've had of this type. Getting it to do what it was supposed to do was not very intuitive. I ended up stumbling across how to use it but once I figured it out, the results have been frankly terrific. The filters are great. Like another reviewer said, it helps take an ordinary snapshot and turn it into what my vision was when I first saw it.

New watercolorist
I just started watercolor after many years showing interest. Being able to convert a photo into a painting is exactly what I needed to see composition, shading , and light. This app is amazing for this novice. I use it everyday - 5 star!!!

I love this app! I use this app to make “print” gifts to frame or send as gifts to friends. Best if it’s from a photo with us, or their homes, gardens.
Still the best app to make pictures look like a painting
I’ve used this app mode years and haven’t found anything better to convert photos to paintings.
Useful for beginner artist
Find the app very helpful when doing a watercolor from a photo. Love all the options. The grayscale really helps find values.
A great app
I have several of these photo-painting apps and I think this is my favorite. It is easy to use and manipulate and it’s quick—thanks so much just what I needed!
A Disappoinment
Stripping all of the color out of an image is no way to begin a conversion. Unlike some painting apps, Mobile Monet doesn’t allow users to choose the extent of change the user wants. No. The app strips out all of the color—and the very poor documentation/help text leaves you clueless about what to do and what choices are available. This would be the child of a marriage between the worst of the colorburst apps and a bad translation of documentation about someone else’s app.
I have a couple of the other ECP apps - and they all have similar problems - but this is the very worst of the lot.

So much fun!
I just uploaded this App and am enjoying the variety of filters to create different looks. I am anxious to see how they print out! Excellent !!
Easy to use
This app is snap to use, and the results are amazing. It can turn a boring photo into a work of art.
Best app ever
I heard about this from another photographer. I decided to try it and I am in love with it. I loved Microsoft digital imaging that I had when I was a PCer. I have been disappointed that apple who has better equipment never had a photo program that was as good as DI. Let me tell you that one was far better than photoshop. Finally this wonderful one Comes along and I can now create work like I used too. I have just one small problem. I like shooting with my camera and creating on my laptop where I have a larger screen when will someone make this compatible with my MAC. My world will be complete when that happens.

Very Cool App IF TAKE TIME and then THINK Creatively !!
I highly recommend and even after several years using it on my iPhone find something new, fun, and beautiful to do with the APP several times a day for my art business.

As far as apps go, I usually download them and either keep or delete them. This app is a “keeper”. I probably use it several times a day. I love every aspect of it.
