Excellent resource. I use it to manage the Macs on my home network. Has a few kinks in terms of UI, but what app from a small dev’ doesn’t?
Nifty Little Bonjour Client
Does exactly what I need; accessing my Mac upstairs when I’m too lazy to get off the couch. I probably use it twice a month to tinker with my Plex library. Am I a “power user”? No. Has it ever let me down? No.

I have it set up to access my iMac on my home network and also via the internet whilst I’m away from home.
Setting it up for use on your home network is a doddle. Access from the internet can be a bit more tricky, you’ll need to make sure you have the desired ports open and you’ll need a DNS address service if you don’t have a static IP.
It’s not really for intensive use, it would be difficult to carry out complex tasks on your computer from your touchscreen smart phone. I use it for things like setting a download going whilst I’m out so it’s ready when I get home, or just checking the status of a backup, that sort of thing… and for these things it works perfectly well.

Facial recognition
Love this app but I hate that I need to enter my password every time my phone goes to sleep. I would give this app 5 stars if it had facial recognition. Thanks

Needs to support Magic Keyboard
I have been using this VNC app since the iPad first came out. However it does not support the iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. So I am looking for another VNC client to spend money on.

... möchte ich die Gelegenheit nutzen die aktuelle Version zu bewerten. Ich benutze Mocha VNC um ein Windows10 Notebook mit der DMX-Steuer-Software DasLight4 auf meinem iPad fernzusteuern, da es von DasLight leider keine iPad App gibt.
Das komplette Design inkl. der Einrichtung eines Clients finde ich auch nach all den Jahren noch immer etwas Benutzerunfreundlich und Lieblos gestaltet. Doch hat man seinen Client einmal so konfiguriert, dass der Finger/Pencil als ‚Mouse at Finger‘ agiert, und das Bild mit dem Schloß-Symbol festgesetzt und vor allen Dingen komplett im Vollbild auf die Displaygröße des iPad eingepasst wird, steht der Bedienung nichts mehr im Wege.
Einzig, dass der Bildschirminhalt nicht mehr übertragen wird, wenn das Display des Notebooks durch Zuklappen abschaltet, finde ich schade. Ich weiß aber nicht wo hier die Limitierung liegt. Ob bei Windows, dem VNC Protokoll, dem TightVNC Server, oder Mocha.
Ich gebe sehr gerne 4 Sterne, da die App macht was sie verspricht und ich mein Problem gelöst habe. Den 5. Stern gebe ich gerne, wenn das Design/Interface mal etwas schöner und Benutzerfreundlicher gestaltet wurde.
Es ist auf jeden Fall alles funktional und das ist das Wichtigste, daher gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Auch gegenüber RealVNC und dem RippleVNC.

i PadでのVNCは色々あるが一番では
VNCは代わる代わる試したが、マウスがそれなりに使える。
問題は、最近のバージョンアップが最新のiPadOSと合わないのか、
bulethoothマウス使うと、VNCではSmart keyboardが効かなくなる。早く修正されることを期待したい。

Quality software that makes my life easier
I have used Mochasoft RDP for years and now also use Mochasoft VNC as I have to administer Linux servers too.
Of all the RDP and VNC clients I've tried, these are easily the best designed and easiest to use. As an example just try doing right mouse click actions in other apps and then compare with how easy it is in the Mocha soft ones.
This VNC app and the corresponding RDP app save me so much time, since in combination with OpenVPN, I can administer whole heards of Windows and Linux servers from anywhere I have my phone.
My only suggestion for an improvement would be if connections could be grouped in to folders, but I understand most users don't have as many connections as I do.

Tried out the lite version to test if it will connect with my macs and it does(while many other vnc apps wouldn’t). Refresh rate isn’t the greatest but what can u really expect on an iPhone 7 over cellular data...
My main use is to access my Mac and run terminal commands on it remotely. Works like a charm. Keyboard and mouse gestures could be better but once u find out where the up/down arrows etc. are u can accomplish what u need.
Will update this review once/if I find any critical issues.

VNCと言えばこれ一択です。
VNCと言えばコレ一択！と言うくらい昔からあり、機能も洗練されています。Windows同士やWinからMac、Linuxを遠隔操作可能です。初代から使っていますが現行iOSはもちろん古いiPhoneでも動く軽さは良いですね。
アプリのデータ量の小ささから見てもムダのないプログラムでコンピュータが今のように視覚的に絵で操作するGUI(グラフィカルユーザーインターフェイス)ではなく、文字だけで操作するCUI(コマンドラインユーザーインターフェイス)の時代からPCを使っている人なら使って見れば必ずこれがVNCアプリの中でこれがどれよりも優れている事が分かると思いますし、無料版でも十分使い物になると思います。
これだけ簡単に使え、昔からある・・・となるとプロのセキュリティに携わるエンジニアの方から見るとやはりセキュリティホールが気になるかもしれませんが、しっかりとしていてかつシンプル設計で穴が出来にくく法人利用で利用すると想定しても設定や構造を複雑にしたりユーザーからはこのソフトかAppを介してユーザー(User)からサーバー(Admin、root)側への干渉はまず持って出来ないでしょう。これは自社法人で利用するにあたり、かなり苦労しましたがデコンパイル(プログラムを言語の状態に戻すこと)をして確認した限り、私自身の初見では逆干渉は不可能だと判断しました。
それからRATなど悪意のあるマルウェアがこのソフトを介して広がる心配も無いかと思います(Admin、root側は別)。
あとセキュリティ上心配があるとすればShodanなどのハード、ソフトのデフォルトパスワードや統計学的パスワードデータのナレッジベースを使われた場合に対応する必要があると思います。といってもパスワードをデフォルトから変えるだけでしっかり対応出来るので初心者でも簡単に出来ます。
上級者であればVPNやプロキシ経由の操作も有料版は可能でWAN側からの操作を直接LANのDMZアドレスに割り当ててもしっかりガード出来る設定も隙のない設定、操作が可能でした。
ですがこのソフト開発者の方もしくは企業のmochaさんが何者なのか分かりませんが他の公開されているアプリも凄いものばかりです。LinuxユーザーなどPC上級者やCUI昔からIT業界にいる方でスマホにiOS端末を使っている方ならこのMochaSoftが公開元のAppは宝の宝庫に見えると思います。脱獄せずにiPhoneでLinuxと同じ事が出来そうです。
