iphone se support

this is such an odd issue, but when pressing the roleplay option for the first time on a smaller phone (at least i assume this is the reason) the button to start the roleplay is completely cut off screen and unable to be tapped :( other than that i have a lot of fun with this app !!

It’s a great app.

I love this app but it keeps messing up even when I say the right thing, it says I said it wrong and sometimes it doesn’t pick up what I said the word can sometimes be right or the words I say can be wrong and it’s telling I got it right or wrong depending how I say it.

Japanese app for beginners

I absolutely love the app but I hate how we have to pay for the other lessons but I absolutely love this app it’s perfect for learning Japanese

Saw this app spammed on Facebook by what seems to be staff pretending to be regular users offering “honest” advice … except it’s just a Duolingo clone with AI. There are better Japanese leaning apps that are actually made by real Japanese native speakers

Very experimental

I keep hearing good things about Mochi apps but this ain’t one of them. well, the idea “make AI your study buddy” is logical but how can you expect to “teach” users Japanese when the AI itself speaks with a heavy Merican accent? “Aw-HAA-YO gawzaeemass” is just outright cringe

So Beginner-Friendly

I’ve been enjoying MochiKaiwa a lot, especially the Tutor Session that helps me practice speaking step by step. The only thing that sometimes slows me down is that the AI tends to explain a bit too much for simple points. I appreciate the clarity, but shorter explanations would make the flow smoother. Besides that, it’s a very solid learning tool.

Good app to speak Japanese from zero
