Good app, Math Latex Rendering needs to be fixed

Amazing app, will definitely spend money on it if the bugs get fixed. Big critique is the LATEX Math rendering keeps bugging out. Especially visible in Universal and Existential Quantifiers lesson in Math. This is a common thing I’ve seen in my experience with Claude which I assume the app uses.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! We've been working on a massive update that will fix most of the known bugs, so you should see improvements with LaTeX rendering soon!

Thanks for the feedback, this made our day! We’re glad Mochivia is making daily learning feel fun and easy to stick with.

Great app in its early stages

Great app for organized learning for whatever topic you want. Really cool idea, kind of like Duolingo for anything. Been using it for a few weeks now and already a lot of the initial problems have been fixed. Highly recommend it for anyone that’s curious in life long learning or wanting to build new skills!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you stuck around, we've been working hard through launch and are pretty happy with how far the app has come :)

Very helpful!

This app is currently helping me with my state test and i hope i will pass!

Definitely bugs, but great Overall

I know this app is new so bugs are to be expected. Currently having issues with accessing the last lesson in a chapter due to it cutting off at the bottom of the screen. Also, I’m having to close and reopen the app every time I finish a lesson, otherwise if I try to start the next lesson, it will just say lesson complete.

Overall, this is a great concept and I’m really enjoying it. Definitely going to help review for some of my college classes.

Hi Raina, Thanks for the review! I'm glad you're finding the app helpful for college :) - Both bugs you mentioned have been fixed so you should be receiving that update in the next day or two. Thanks for using Mochivia! - Brian

Solid app

This is easy for me to learn and try and stay consistent while learning valuable material

Sooo glitchy

Decided to test this app out because the concept sounded interesting. But in just my first section there were glitches where I’d click one word and another would pop up. If you try swapping tracks when you’ve already started it’s a whole mess. Also just thought they’d teach the topics in funner way…

Hey, founder here! Thanks for the honest feedback. Bugs like the one you mentioned shouldn’t happen and we fixed that issue in the latest update (yesterday night). we just launched last week and are actively improving things like track switching. I’d really value hearing more about what felt messy or what would make the experience better for you! If you’re open to it, feel free to email me directly at brian@bleaulabs.com

First lesson bug

A major flaw is when you try to answer a question with the same answer the first input invalidates the placement for the second input, leaving only a single answer and no continuation of the lesson due to the fact that I can’t put the same answer twice either a code needs to be implemented where options don’t disappear and it’s a nice and cool thing functionality wise. It’s terrible.

Feels like I found this early

i don’t usually leave reviews but this feels like one of those apps that’s going to blow up. it’s not 100% polished yet but the core idea is really strong. already seeing updates too which is a good sign
