Excellent app

This app has been brilliant, I’ve been using it to make small clips of my own apps that I can share on our social channels and it’s pretty seamless.

The developer is also responsive and very helpful!

Bad for video

This works well for photos, but very poorly for video. You can’t even crop it. And it’s difficult to adjust the zoom, especially if you initially select a smaller smartphone view.

Time saver

Very useful tool, saves me hopping between different apps every time I need a nice looking screenshot. Lots of customization options and some fun bells and whistles. Generous free plan too!

Super handy

This is a really simple app to use. I can see how it might add a features soon but it’s perfect for quick screen mockups.

Perfect, focused app

Makes it easy to do app mockups, great for demoing new features!

Quick feature requests:
• Timeline transitions that zoom in OR zoom out (currently they do both)
• Support for multiple videos and/or splitting a video

Credits

It would be great if people could get credits daily 1 each day for example or getting 1 by watching 3 ads.
Overall the app is great, love the ui and the simplicity.

Amazing and fast

Was using screen studio before which was so expensive and I had to manually connect my phone to desktop. This makes everything so much easier. Amazing and easy to use!

Exactly what I needed

I use Screeny multiple times a day to share progress on my app when building in public

It’s honestly so quick to put together mockups and share, all done within 30 seconds

Dev is constantly pushing updates too which is amazing to see, the app just keeps getting better and better

Would recommend this app to literally anyone!

Videos need work

Getting some distortion when I use a video of me scrolling down my website. The top area doesn’t stay consistent. Otherwise good.

For best results, I recommend using a device bezel that matches your actual screen size. You can also turn off the status bar cleaning in settings if needed.

My go-to for great and instant screenshots and app demos

I use Screeny all the time when I just want to share a quick screenshot or app demo with clients, friends, or on social. It makes screenshots look good instantly without me having to think about design or spend time tweaking things. Super fast, very low effort, and exactly the kind of utility app you end up using way more than expected. The developer is also quick to respond to feedback, which I really appreciate. Overall, one of the app I use multiple times a day.
