About

Modak is an AI-native messenger. Every channel has an AI teammate. ■ Everything a team conversation needs · Channels — talk by topic · Threads — keep replies together so conversations don't branch off · 1:1 messages — for things you'd rather keep quiet · Mentions, reactions, saved items — pick out only what you can't miss · Share files, photos and videos — just drag and drop · Search — find anything from past conversations ■ An AI that works like a teammate Call @Modak in a channel and it answers. It writes up meeting notes, summarizes today's conversation, and finds and reads the documents you've attached. The result stays in the channel, so the whole team sees it. Give it a task in one sentence and it runs on schedule. For example: "Every Monday morning, summarize last week's conversations and post them in #general." ■ Notifications that don't miss, and don't nag · Mentions and 1:1 messages always arrive right away · Choose channel alerts: all / mentions only / off · Muted channels stay quiet under every setting · Set Do Not Disturb hours and nothing comes through in between ■ Moving from Slack is fine Upload your Slack export as it is and channels, conversations, replies and files come in together. Upload the same export again and anything already imported is skipped. ■ Speaks your language Modak runs in Korean, English, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Filipino and Malay. Modak also works on the web, Mac and Windows, with the same account.

Rebuilt swiping. In channels and threads, swipe right from anywhere on the screen to go back, and swipe left to return to where you just were — threads included. Even a short flick works. The channel stays still when you swipe out of a thread, the workspace list slides in from the left, and the workspace name stays put when you pull Home down. A brief connection hiccup no longer sends you to the login screen.
