Childhood memory for me. At one point my favorite game of all time. Growing up on the mobile platform due to never having a console when I was younger I played countless mobile games ranging from pvp, fps, mmo, rpg, etc. And this game right here? This is monumental for me. The things I'd do to be able to go back and play it through one last time. You will be missed, mc4.

I know it’s been a while but Gameloft may you please update this game? I’m not sure if it’ll be a hassle but this game truly was the best I’ve played by far from you guys. Modern Combat 5 isn’t that bad, but the mechanics on Modern Combat 4 was definitely better than 5. I don’t know, I know a lot of people may tell me that I’m wrong but I truly believe it was the best. I love this game and it still is the best fps game out there but after updating ios and coming back ti this app i found that the game is only supporting ios 8. I’ve tried other fps games to make up for mc4 but none of them were as good as this game. Could you plz make this compatible for the ios update??plzplz

I feel this game needs to be updated so people can play it. I mean it’s only right seeing that people spent actual money in game and now we can’t play at all. Feel kinda robbed ya know. Like if y’all going to do this with your games that people spend ACTUAL money on then there needs to be some type of reimbursement or something. Plus I bought this game for like 6.99 I believe. I didn’t pay for it to become unavailable. 😐

Lack of updates, lack of compassion to the fans of this great game
First off. This Game is Amazing! But on my iPhone 7, I can’t play it anymore because it hasn’t been updated. It’d be great if it was updated. Was always a great game. Would love to see more like it. Thank you. Please update it so it’s compatible. I really loved this game and so did many others.
Update for IOS 11 Please!!!
I know the Game loft developers are purely focusing on the current games but if they could just update the old modern combats especially modern combat 3 and 4 to keep them up to date with the IOS by just optimizing them like they updated for IOS 8 three years ago, that would be awesome. If people payed for an application it would make sense to keep it optimized for future use!!

AN AWESOME GAME THAT DOESNT WORK..
I came back to this game after years of not playing for some nostalgia only to find out i can't even play multiplayer. which i've spent thousands of hours on in the past when i was younger. the servers are fine, but the game KEEPS CRASHING. I can play single player just fine but online is GG. every time i get in a game and there's more then 2 people on my screen it crashes. the game will be almost over and i thought it's working again.. but guess what it crashes. unlike MC3 which is impossible to log into on multiplayer because of the connection lost error. I feel like game loft gave up on their old games which is sad because MC4 is way better then MC5 it's like Call of duty: Modern warfare 2.. simply timeless. all this new futuristic stuff is garbage. which is why i went back to MC4. I never write a review unless i'm actually bothered so that you gameloft for triggering me and ruining a great game.

MC4 FOR THE WIN!!
Modern Combat 4 is the best best game in the series. This is just my opinion and I'll tell you why I think this. It has a amazing campaign with tons of action and gameplay, a great and well put together storyline that you can play anywhere you go considering it's offline, and a amazing multiplayer experience. The graphics are amazing considering it's a mobile fps. It feels like a actual fps that could run on a console such as an Xbox 360 or a PS3. Overall it's totally worth the $7 dollars (including tax) to buy this game. Overall I think it is the best game in the series because of this and because of the amazing offline campaign.

There just one thing
The game is great, it has a lot of realistic features like the recoil and detail, the graphics are amazing, I like much more then mc5 but the one thing that this game needs development on is the common game crash usually when achieving a kill streak, It would be awesome if the developers would give this game one more chance and I'd love if the make an auto run feature and for the single player to save as well, this game is great just it's forgotten.

How could you not rate 5 ⭐?
This is the best FPS out there for iPad. Hands down. Huge maps, and totally appreciate the map update previously. Challenging team matches with a huge variety of weapons, explosives and special skills. You can acquire anything you need without in-app purchases if you are tenacious! (I HATE games that limit how far you can go before requiring in app $$)
Occasionally laggy but no more than any HALO I've played. The only thing to work on would be commo between players during a match--that would bring the excitement to a max!

attention Gameloft please read
Gameloft, I have been a fan of the Modern Combat series ever since they came out. It wouldn't be that difficult for you to adapt every MC game for the latest operating systems. You could even re sell all the old games in a pack for the new operating systems (MC 1-4) and I know people would buy them because MC 1 was cool, MC 2 was amazing, MC3 was not that good, MC4 was the best FPS ever released on handheld platforms and MC5 is a bit overkill with some features but still a good game. please read this review. Someone like me who loves the MC series of games so much would really love something like that. Or simply just updating MC4 so I can play it on iOS10. thank you.

so I found some games to play THEN I saw this like WOW! great game you have low health a rapid fire Guns!!! So u die quick and kill quick really brings out the challenge but also ADD MORE Chapters but no YOU CANNOT

Im sorry i paid $ for this app, how can I hack the hackers?
I regret having bought this app. Hackers are not stopped from making everybody loose the games, even as a pro at this game. Others aim elsewhere and I am dead. The game starts me off at the end only to loose games. When I get shot at by an opponent, I die and re spawn twice as it is their hack but no one seems to know how to fix this problem. I am sorry I had to give it one star. This is the best game for hackers who have taken control of all the games, except mornings. The new update quits on you when you are winning.
On a MC4, Hackers either have taken over, or HQ is on it to make me loose. Every time I am winning for more than two kills the game app always quits on me. When I am loosing a game is because the game starts at either 49 kills and is ab t to end, or time is almost to the end so it records my loss. By far the worst game I ever put time on to play. HQ should be ashamed to have done this. this is not a coincidence. Respond to is comment if you can prove me wrong. BMR

The problem...
There is a- scratch that. There are two problems with this game. Firstly, the combat system is broken. There are two select assault rifles that can instantly kill you. I do not own these rifles because of the next problem. The currency is way too hard to obtain in multiplayer. If they were to make their combat system more like MC5, then I wouldn't have a problem because gameplay-wise, MC5 is significantly better than MC4. It's engaging with no overpowered weapons at all. Every map in MC5 is consistently easy to navigate. Please, Gameloft, fix this game.

Fun... but power consuming
Fun game it eats your power up nom nom nom. Which you can expect and the playing models could have a little tweets and have Page not be cocky and sounds to much terrorist to me while the American person just sounds to much like page to me but that's alright. Worth the 6.99 but in multiplayer could you not rank us up with level 30s I'm a level two and it happens.

Best Game on the Market!
All I have to say is WOW! Great job on the game Gameloft! I do however have some suggestions. First, I will start off by saying that we need to be able to have 10 class setup slots. This will add an even greater strategy element into the game. Next, I feel that the cost of ALL guns should be increased drastically. I love how we can keep the weapons even when we prestige though! Also, there needs to be an option to remove friends from your friends list. People kept spamming me to ask to add them to my friend list. I finally accepted, thinking I could delete them right after and they wouldn't notice. But there is no option to remove friends! Also, I feel that the game is needing more maps. Some map packs would do the trick! This is a win-win, because you could charge money for the packs, while we get blessed with new awesome maps! We should also get some weapon packs. Not too many, but just enough to keep the game appealing. Don't go overboard though, Gameloft! We may want more guns, but we don't want them OP! The game modes Destruction and Bomb Squad also need to be added to ranked matches. Lastly, I would like to close off with saying that this game has incredible graphics. Much better even than COD Ghosts on the Xbox One! If you are looking to buy this game, make the right choice and GET IT! You will not regret it!

This game is dope but needs to be fixed
I love this game. Like many others I think it's much better than any other game in the modern combat series.. Even a lot better than MC5. But this game has crashing issues and not just for me. I've read many other reviews and many of em have the same problem. For me I can't play a ranked game on multiplayer. It always crashes for me no matter what I do... And believe me I've done everything. Please game loft... Just fix this game. Clean it up please!!!

Hacking
Single player campaign is great love the story lines in this series but game loft you do realize people hack on multiplayer can't get a single kill people knife me from 50 ft away how is that possible when there are no throwing knives in the game snipers take me out and they aren't even aiming at me which is called aim bot this is not fair to other players please keep track of who is who and who is hacking and ban them please I'll stick to single player as I cannot play with other people who hack please fix your mistakes

DOES GAMELOFT EVEN PAY ATTENTION？
I purchased this game when it first came out，it is an epic game with stunning effect and no need for internet to experience the single player. Until the last update they ruined everything. High pitch noise（so does MC3），frequent crash（unacceptable） and due to crash we can't use RPG or missiles to shoot human enemies in game. I have tried ALL methods to contact Gameloft support and report the problem we encountered，all I get is “we're currently working on these issues.” You have time to produce silly games like sniper fury and have no time to fix bugs？？Your attitude is so horrible！I really miss the honest and hardworking Gameloft when MC1 and MC2 came out

Mind-blowing experience.!.
Wow tbh, this the best Modern Combat game & now my top favorite shooting-acting game in the App Store no question about it, I can't describe how kool & awesome the game is. Except the control are pretty small to touch my fingers, yep that's no problem doe. But one thing is fosure, it's definitely worth every-single penny. You could literally tell a lot of hard work went into this Modern Combat💯😯😧🎮💸👌🏻👍🏻
