Very useful for learning modern Hebrew

Thanks for developing this app,, it has proved beneficial. Two modifications would be appreciated. The option to have the audio without the music and background, I find it distracting. It would also be helpful to include a scrolling “slider” with the audio to enable one to reverse or fast forward in the text ( most helpful if I could “rewind “ so as hear a particular sentence without starting from the beginning of the chapter.)

Ok but not audio

If you read Hebrew then this is a good source. If you want to play the audio and follow the Hebrew then you’re out of luck. At least how this runs on my IPad it’s sort of hit or miss. Sometimes it lines up and sometimes what is being read out loud and what is highlighted are not at all connected. It can be pretty frustrating.

Like but for one thing….

I like this app. My only wish is that there was an option for audio with the music background. It’s distracting and too loud against the voice.

Update on previous 2 star review

This ran great for over a year. Then it just stopped working. Would not load the Bible, just circle of death indication. I wanted to use it so I deleted and reloaded it multiple times. Sometimes I would get a load that would bring up the Bible but no settings bar. Turned off my iPad and back on many times All the usual stuff. Finally this evening it looks like I got a download that works. This is a great product when it’s running, just a few bugs.

Hebrew Roots

I LOVE the Hebrew language. It has helped me to draw nearer to the Lord and I am grateful that this app exists to provide both English and Hebrew texts and audio. May the Lord bless you and may you continue the journey to spread His word, the living gospel to all corners of the earth!

Great but…

The App and audio work great on the IPhone 14 pro max but will not work on my IPad (6th Generation). The audio player menu keeps disappearing and then will sometimes appear when the app is reopened, appears to be a bug. Would definitely be 5 stars if this gets fixed. I deleted and downloaded app again and still not working right, very disappointing. I really wanted the audio on my IPad the same as the phone. Hopes this bug gets fixed soon.

Give options to change English version

Fantastic idea, the Hebrew pronunciation is great, however, as a Jew, I only use CJB or TLV version of the English. Please add an option to change the version of has so much potential to be incredible app!

Hello, Thank you for your report. If you go forward or backward between chapters too fast, then asynchronous audio play could happen. This is possibly due to server speed. We will try to fix this problem. Thank you.

Good but

The search function apparently doesn’t work. You type in the word, no option for Hebrew, then does nothing. No directions to ensure I’m doing it right so, just out of luck if you want to search anything.

Update: added Hebrew keyboard to iPad and can now search. As I see it, an English search is not really available. Is that correct?

Too fast reading rate

It would be a great app if one could slow down the pace of the reading to different speeds so one could focus on pronouncing words sometimes instead of having only one speed. Most important improvement.

Also when looking up a Hebrew word in the Lexicon to have the English transliteration next to the Hebrew word.

Interlinear transliteration

Interlinear transliteration and interlinear translation.
Most important of all first is to be able to slow down the reading to different speeds.

Just what I was looking for

I have only just opened this App but it looks great.
So good to have verse by verse interlinear Hebrew/English together with the spoken Hebrew in a modern accent.
Also a real bonus to have the New Testament in Hebrew.
I will be recommending this to others who study Biblical Hebrew.
Good to see that there are already some corrected errors in the Hebrew text. Clearly the developer is on top of this.

Disappointed

Not real great, the Hebrew letters are so tiny & without letter vowel points. Not a lot of help in reading Hebrew. Keep working on this app, it has potential one day.
