What's New in Version 20.8.12 New Features • Internal notes — write a note inside a patient conversation that the patient never sees. Tap the lock in the message bar to arm note mode, and anything you send lands in the chat for your colleagues only, marked with a dashed "Internal note" bubble so it's never mistaken for a message to the patient. Notes work inside threads too, and can be edited, deleted and @mentioned like any other message. Use the chat filter to show only notes when you're catching up on a handover.. • Practice-wide mailbox for providers — your inbox now shows every conversation in the practice, not only the ones you're part of. Conversations you're not a member of are clearly marked and open read-only, so you can see what's going on without joining or disturbing anyone. Filter by All, Mine, or Unassigned to cut the list down to what's yours or what nobody has picked up yet — alongside the existing status, unread and thread filters.. • Care teams for patients — patients now start new chats with their own care team rather than a full provider directory. They'll see their primary provider plus any care team assigned to them, and can either message the whole team at once or pick one member individually. Team chats are titled with the team's name and every member receives the message, so whoever is free can pick it up.. Improvements • Conversations you're only observing are marked in the inbox, so it's clear at a glance which chats you're actually a member of before you open them.. • Starting a chat with a care team now reuses the existing conversation with those same people instead of opening a second one, keeping the patient's inbox and message history in one place.. • Portal secure messages — pending (enqueued) messages now sort in chronological order with the rest of the thread instead of sticking to the top, and UTC date handling no longer hides messages that should already be visible..
