App wurde 7 Jahre (2024) nicht verbessert. Es funktioniert fast nichts mehr. Ständige Abstürze. Webseite ist auch down. Müsste eigentlich aus dem Store fliegen. Unglaublich! Apps kann man übrigens rückerstatten lassen. Einfach Rückerstattung und Apple googeln.

L’appli n’a jamais été parfaitement stable, mais elle est maintenant totalement inutilisable sur les ipad "récents" (< 2020) faute de suivi. Comment cette application peut elle être encore en vente ?

Turned Garbage
After an update The app won’t stop clicking. Metronome is off. All tracks are stopped. Still clicking like crazy. Impossible to use. Seems the Devs broke it long time ago and ran away.

The App is amazing is a great sustitución for a letón live, the o ley problem that has is i can work with any extérnala apps ( crash ) When do you want load a Synth like Synthone or Aparillo is a shame clise the arquitectue of tris app is great ..

I was really excited about this app when it came although it was alway pretty wonky and I often spent more time troubleshooting and trying figure out how to use it than get songs done. It’s always been full of bugs and I think it’s safe to say after 5 years and no updates it’s abandonware. The real question is why is this app still on the AppStore? Obviously the developer doesn’t care about ModStep and has moved on, so why sell an app you’ve given up on?

fantastic workflow but full of bugs
It seems the app was not updated in a hot minute.
Loading AUv3s quits the app but Ive played around with what is included and I would go totally insane if this could become a regular tool in my toolbox.
In love with many grooveboxes like Drambo but to have touch optimized albeton like performance scene launcher would be a dream.
(i know LK exists but can’t get into that one.)
If only loading auv3 was fixed i would already esctatic.

A éviter à tout pris , ne fonctionne avec aucun auv3 , passe son temps à crascher , sincèrement comment peut on vendre une app avec autant de problèmes, je fonctionne sur un iPad Pro avec le dernier iOS

Instrument laden = Absturz
Vielversprechende App, leider stützt sie aber zu oft ab. Die App hätte das Potenzial die Zentrale Steuerzentrale in einem Liveset zu sein und hier sogar dank Touchbedienung Platzhirsche wie Ableton verdrängen zu können, wäre sie nur stabil/zuverlässig genug für den Livebetrieb.
Aktuell durch Abstürze unbrauchbar, werden die allerdings gefixt hat die App 5 Sterne mehr als verdient.

Не загружает AU, AUv3, !!! Выкидывает с приложения! iPad Pro 16.4!!! Исправьте.
Ganzes Midi Studio
Steuert mittlerweile meine 8 hardware synthesizer ganz alleine. Dabei spiele ich alle auf einmal und lese sogar automatisierungs CC in verschiedenen Spuren. Bisher nicht einmal abgestürzt. Top App!
Don't be fooled: do not buy!
While it is a nice app in theory, it annoys me about every time I try to use it. Even years after it's release, it is still full of of bugs and I do not believe any fixes are coming.
Some examples:
The other day, it took 5 or 6 times of restarting it before it actually loaded the project. I think it was the first time it took so many tries, but loading projects only after a few tries is a very regular occurrence.
When you select a specific MIDI-in device on a track, it still gets MIDI from all everywhere and you have to mute track you do not want played by the incoming MIDI. Even if nothing is armed and when the channel is a different one!
When you "save as", the currently selected track gets renamed to that name, too. That's especially annoying when you are using track names to reference which external sound the track should control.
And these are just what I encountered on my last tries of using the software.
I bought it pretty much as soon as it came out. At 20$ it was the most expensive app on my iPad, and never got to actually use it.
I did not want to give a bad review because, as I wrote at the top, it is a nice app in theory, but I feel tricked and I do not believe that it will ever get in a usable state for me because the creators do not seem to care about the bugs and the bad reviews they deservedly get.
Edit: Now trying to load AU synths crashes modstep and IAA synths do not produce any sound!

Can’t believe I missed this app when it came out. This thing is hugely deep and the level of details that the dev put into it is simply mind blowing! Hopefully they consider supporting it again, there’s a whole new wave of iOS musicians now vs 3 years ago. This thing is an epic work of art

I’m so sad about MODSTEP😢😫😭
I LOVE Modstep. I’ve spent 2 years learning it and figuring out work arounds cause it seems it’s been abandoned. I still stood by it cause it’s just so good at sequencing, program changes, notes, ccs. Awesome for external gear and worked with AudioBus for routing to AUM. But now I can’t even load it! Please update so it can operate in os 14! All my projects are dead now... 😰😩

App is not working properly with ios14
I bought this app but when I add an external midi instrument it doesn’t sound. When I try to add an AU instrument it hangs. I’d appreciate you update this applicarion.
