Kiddo loves it
Sound issue was our fault. Kiddo switched their phone to silent mode and we didn’t check that! All their other games (Except Ready, Jet, Go) still had sound so I didn’t even think to check it. They will be very happy it’s back in working order.

Deep voice
When I went in to the app the app was talking in a very deep voice that happened two times but not on the same day. It is so weird

No volume
I downloaded this app because my daughter loves the show. Unfortunately there’s no sound which makes it completely difficult to use. Terrible glitch.

My daughter loves this app. I love all things pbs. I have other pbs apps but for some reason the sound won’t play for this one.

A terribly designed game that’s poorly executed. Boring and filled with bugs. Stick with the website.
App is fun, but sound stopped working
I’m writing this review to let the creators know the apps sound has stopped working. The games/activities are good! My 4 year old really likes them and can navigate fairly easily. I hope the sound issue can be resolved!!

No option for sound control. Using on an iPad Pro with iOS 13.3.1.
Rather maddening. This is the case for all the PBS kids apps I’ve downloaded. Can the Dev Team please respond to what’s clearly a design flaw with a solution?
My mute button is not on - volume is up.
My Bluetooth is off - no sound going to other devices
Sound works on various other apps (Spotify, other kids games, YouTube app, etc.)

UPDATE: heard back from dev team. Current update should resolve the issue but have yet to do that. Response did mention i need to have volume switch turned on but I am using a 12.5” Gen 1 iPad Pro running iOS 13.5.1 which has no physical volume on-off switch (just +/- volume toggle).
Will revise star rating once this is resolved.

My son enjoys the PBS kids apps but it took a while to figure out the the audio wasn’t in the app and figure out how to turn it on.
The games freeze and glitch very frequently, but they’re free and educational.

It also includes 2 new games - "Veggiezilla" and "Alaskan Adventure." Finally, sound should be working as long as the volume switch is turn on. Do you mind providing more info for us to investigate? Which device are you using and with which OS? Thanks for your continued support of PBS KIDS.
No sound on iPad
This app works great on my iPhone. I cannot get any sound on the iPad version. Reboot, etc does not solve this. The bigger screen would be way more fun. Settings tab just lists my local PBS station. Any ideas? No mute button on as I just watched the news...

Great app and show
My wife and I are wildlife biologists in the Pacific Northwest. We love watching Molly with our kids, and really appreciate its well written and well sourced and interesting narratives on ecology and culture and history and critical thinking and everything else. We usually pick apart inaccurate science narratives in shows we wish were better made, and debate whether to let the kids watch them. We are very impressed with Molly of Denali.
I will admit that I don’t know what the kids think of the app yet. Because I’ve just been playing it myself for the last hour or so and enjoying myself thoroughly and haven’t told them about it yet; even though the content seems targeted a bit younger than my bracket. I’ll show it to them tomorrow.
Please improve your show by making lots more episodes. And please improve your app by adding lots more app content. My only real critical feedback is that your app needs a more robust settings functionality.....reset data, within app audio control, screen orientation flexibility.
