Glitches, thieves (no customer service, chat, star-free books, or new quests)š”
(01/2021) You can barely read a chapter because itās expensive to move on. You (USED TO) get 5 diamonds a day on ads & 1 after reading each chapter. Plus some from tasks. Great stories and graphics. Some stories ask for diamonds, but donāt do the option you chose. I like these type of stories because I remember choose your ending books with the āturn to page #_ā options as a kid.
***EDIT: (4/24/22) Itās been almost 1 MONTH (since 3/31/22) w/o diamonds from 5 daily ads, each finished chapter, diamonds from star tree, etc. Plus the daily 2 free-star stories are gone. Everyone is frustrated cuz most pay $10 a month for better clover tasks. We canāt do them w/o diamonds. So the $10 for APRIL was STOLEN. Most companies like happy customers, but customer service doesnāt reply or even look at our complaints in the chat. Plus a mini game from years ago is broken. Please fix or remove it. Everyoneās 1st question is how to play it. Some members answer questions, but more leave each day. P.S. Where it says āVersion Update,ā observed & version are both misspelled. That reminds me, it says weāll be rewarded for catching errors in stories. As a former editor, I help with most the ones I find because itās time consuming. Iām not sure what we are supposed to receive because I havenāt received anything in the 2 years Iāve played. We all need the diamonds we paid $10 for April right now. So thatās a good first step. As far as suggestions, we each post about so many to help the app, please add a place for suggestions. I have heard about how great the app was years ago & I hope to see it too. We all want the same thing. A working app that brings in money. Most are boycotting spending $ until things are fixed or already left. So itās lose-lose. :(
EDIT: (11/11/22) Itās been almost 8 MONTHS (since 3/31/22) since the video ad diamonds worked, among the other stuff mentioned in my last review. We did get the 2 star free stories a day back, but we need diamonds, not stars. Still lack of customer service. As you can see no update in a year when they used to update years ago. I started 2 years ago, so I missed all the good mini games and more diamonds per day etc. I wish they would fix things because so many more friends have quit, sadly. The only upside is more stories have been added recently.

Issue!
I paid for no ads, and I still receive ads, is that a type of error or something? I never had ads originally when I would pick the stars and diamonds off my tree, or read. Besides that the App is great, I discovered it back around 2019 and itās still great, the only ever disadvantage Iām experiencing currently besides the ads is the disappearing of stories I know I read in the past, and no updates, but otherwise Iād recommend it for reading!!!

Game is back! ā¦ or is it?
The game loads now and there are (were) more quests. That gave me hope, but Iāve messaged support twice, tried to login via Facebook, and have gotten errors and no response. The quests just refreshed and half of them are unknown, so Iām not sure whatās going on. Did I waste my money?
Nice idea, but annoying ad issues
I am enjoying the choose your own adventure style, however watching ads to earn the diamonds needed to make some choices is problematic at times. Often the ads will play through with no option to X out of them, causing me to shut down the app to restart it & earning nothing for watching. Also often the same ad will be present upon restart forcing me to uninstall then reinstall the app. Itās borderline unusable.

I have been reading for years and have ran into a story I have read before, however when going to a new chapter, it says unreleased chapter and I cannot back out to read or touch any different story to start itās completely black screen. Iāve tried several things, but I do not want to delete the app due to all of the stars and diamonds I have accumulated. Itās frustrating. Could someone look into this.

Iāve been using thing app for years now.I love the storyās. I have the vip. They have not put anything new. Stopped using it for a little while. I came just recently and they have old stories and just put new one them. I am trying to decide if I am going to renew after having them for a 5 years.

This used to a great app, it had some really decent adaptations from really good authorsā¦.its been at least two years since the creators have released anything new or can help you if you purchase something. Warning from a long time user, DONT PURCHASE ANY DIAMONDS
