The app provides field service leaders with sophisticated financial and operational insights. It goes beyond basic asset tracking to offer real-time cost analysis against budget, crew and asset location monitoring, and performance metrics for ongoing jobs.
Key features include real-time tracking of budgeted versus actual job costs, knowing the location and duration of crews and assets at job sites, viewing operational performance, and seeing all business assets on a map or list. It also allows for quick viewing of individual asset details and trip history.
The app requires a paired Eagle One device for tracking. There is no upfront hardware cost, activation fee, or minimum contract term. Pricing is on a pay-as-you-go monthly basis, and users can cancel at any time. A free 30-day trial is available.
The Momentum IoT app requires an Eagle One device for tracking individual assets. These devices are available in OBD-II (plugin) or 12V port (direct-to-battery) configurations. The devices are cloud-managed.
Common use cases include analyzing the budget impact of site visits, understanding equipment utilization and production rates, allocating resources based on costs, accounting for variable costs like travel and maintenance, managing construction equipment, and reducing fuel expenses by mitigating idling.
