Best AI chat in the App Store
Go to Huggingface and copy the url for Dolphin LLM, and paste the link in the download box. That provides a million times better conversations with characters than the two LLM models this app suggests. After doing that, this literally becomes the best AI chatbot app. There’s no competition and I’ve tried every app available. However, the app has a few issues that need to be addressed. First, it desperately needs a dark mode, as it’s almost impossible to use at night. The functionality of characters is also inconsistent. Each character is made by the users. There’s a huge community of users, creating characters. How long a character functions without errors depends on how well the character synopsis was written. This doesn’t refer to the app itself having errors, but rather the character losing coherence. Most characters last a day and some only three hours. Despite this, this is still the best option in the iOS, App Store. The problem of characters forgetting interactions could easily be resolved if the developer allowed the AI to summarize previous conversations and integrate those summaries into the character profiles. This would allow users to quickly restore continuity after a crash. Plus adding a master reset to return characters to their original state would also be helpful.
