About
How much is left this month? My Budget answers exactly that question – at a glance, every day. No bank connection, no account, no ads. Your data stays with you: on your device and in your iCloud.
AT A GLANCE
• Your monthly budget as a ring: green while everything’s on track, orange from three quarters, red when you’re over
• What you’ve spent, what’s left and your daily average
• What’s still coming up this month – rent, subscriptions, insurance
• Adjust the budget for single months, like the month of your vacation
INSIGHTS THAT MAKE SENSE
• Your month day by day next to last month – with a forecast to the end of the month
• The history of your months, split into recurring bills and everyday spending
• Where your money goes: by category, payment method or merchant – each with its own page and every expense behind it
• Tap, or touch and hold and slide: every day and every month shows its numbers
LOGGED IN SECONDS
• Amount, title, done – the app suggests frequent entries as you type, including category and payment method
• Snap a photo of a receipt: the total, date and items are recognized on your device – with an arithmetic check that includes sales tax
• Shared a bill? Divide it by the number of people or enter your share – even afterward, for example for Apple Pay
• Paid abroad? Log the amount in the local currency – converted at the European Central Bank’s daily rate
• With Siri and Shortcuts: “Log an expense in My Budget”
• A button in Control Center takes you straight to a new expense
AUTOMATIC WITH APPLE PAY
Set up an automation in the Shortcuts app once – after that, Apple Pay payments land in My Budget on their own, with amount, merchant and card. To be safe, they go to “To Review” first, because iOS also reports declined payments. One tap confirms, and the app remembers the category and payment method for your next purchase at the same merchant.
RECURRING BILLS ON AUTOPILOT
Rent, insurance, subscriptions: add them once – daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. My Budget logs them on time and spreads them over the month in your daily average instead of giving you a shock on the first.
EXPENSE REPORTS FOR ACCOUNTING
Turn on expense reports, collect receipts – a photo, a PDF or an Apple Pay payment – and hand them over with one tap: a PDF with every receipt, a table and the original files. Recurring bills can be business expenses too, like a software subscription for work. Business expenses don’t count toward your budget, because they’re reimbursed.
REMINDERS WHEN IT MATTERS
• At 80 and 100 percent of your budget
• One day before large recurring bills
• With a review at the start of each month
Nothing more. No ads, no constant pings.
ON ALL YOUR DEVICES
• Automatic sync between iPhone and iPad through your iCloud
• Widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen: whether your budget lasts until month-end, what’s left per day and what’s coming up – amounts only if you turn them on
• Two columns on iPad and the unfolded iPhone Duo
• Dark Mode and large text
PRIVATE FROM THE START
• No account, no sign-up, no bank credentials
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics tools
• Receipt recognition entirely on your device
• Locked with Face ID if you like
• Export at any time: as a spreadsheet or as a full backup
My Budget is a personal budget planner. The app doesn’t connect to any bank and never moves money.
