Great features

I’ve been using Money Tracker for more than 6 years, and have been very pleased with the ease of use, reliability and rich functionality.

Great app!

There’s a little bit of a learning curve but it’s well worth your time and effort. Customer service is very timely and thorough. The Apple app doesn’t give you very good charts. For them, and if you want to print, you need the app for your laptop or desktop. I will probably buy it in the next month it two. The price is very affordable given that you are getting a full accounting app that is as detailed as you want to make it.

Very Useful, but Needs Shared Accounts

I've been using Money Tracker for over 5 years, and it has been a highly effective tool for managing my finances.
The only significant feature it's missing is the option for shared accounts. It would be ideal if another person could add or modify transactions in the same account from their own app.
This improvement would make it perfect for managing expenses with a partner or a group.

Goodbye Expensive Quicken! A true Life Saver!

I've tried sooo many finance apps over the years, many that are more extensive than this, but I've learned that my needs are simple: a checkbook-style register to record transactions, a forecasting model & the ability to track investment money for retirement. This does that (including some simple visuals) and I really couldn't be happier! No more expensive Quicken! (There's also a budgeting feature but I don't use that, yet.) I wouldn't mind seeing some of those visuals on the Accounts tab, kind of like a homepage for everything, but I'm very happy. So happy that I own it on the Windows & Android platforms, too, so I have it on every device! Being able to sync my data using OneDrive or Dropbox (rather than on a site you aren't sure of) is simply outstanding! And a dark mode was added well before iOS 13! (Plus, I imported over 15 years of data from Quicken without any problems!)

To address someone's concern with having to pay on another platform: that doesn't concern me. Keep in mind that a developer has to know how to code on multiple platforms, including making equitable upgrades or bug fixes that may not be in the other OS for cross-platform use. (Ok, I get the point, but I'm thankful the developers figured out how to bring it to a new venue / audience, and I'm willing to reward them for that hard work...so that I don't have to keep feeding the expensive Quicken monster!) Plus, not sure how economically feasible it is for a small developer to implement cross-platform authentication. (Does that happen with Angry Birds? No!)

Take advantage of the trial. You might find your needs are more simple than you thought. I truly can't recommend this enough!

To the developers: Please keep up the excellent work! You have a fan, for life!

Casi perfecta

Here's a review of the Money Tracker app:

[English]

Money Tracker is a useful application an also available on both Android and Windows. It allows you to synchronize your data across different devices, although you have to pay a fee each time you subscribe to the premium version.

One of the standout features of this app is its ability to manage multiple accounts and beneficiaries. However, there are some aspects that could be improved to make it perfect. For example, it would be convenient if the app allowed assigning more than one default beneficiary for split transactions.

Furthermore, it would be beneficial to have the option to share an account or project with someone who also has the same application. This would enable a shared project where both parties can update expenses and view related transactions within the same app, instead of having to send Excel files or emails with the details.

Another interesting enhancement would be the ability to automatically capture amounts, dates, and establishment names directly from a photo of a receipt. Some apps already offer this functionality, and it would be convenient for Money Tracker to implement it as well, with the option to ask if the user wants to save the information.

Overall, Money Tracker is a useful app for financial tracking, but there are some improvements that could make it even more comprehensive and practical.
