Definitely very cheap design and ads even after paying
MoneyControl having lot of data but it’s useless with very cheap design. Too slow as well.
As soon you login the app it’s going to feel very cheap.
Even with the high end phone this app is always slow. Portfolio screen is so small that it is useless. And that ad - loan against mutual funds is so irritating. Definitely very cheap developer and designer.

Being a Pro member, we always expect no annoying ads in the application but the ads get bombarded after every 2 comments in the message section. Even the website has the same issue.

Lots of Ads even for paying subscribers
The Money Control app has way too many ads even if you’re a paying subscriber. In addition I get too many notifications which dilutes the value of the important news.
There isn’t any option to customise and reduce the notifications. Many of the notifications are ads for webinars.
The notifications and ads degrade the value of the great articles and news content being put out by the money control team.

App doesn’t work on iOS

Ads overlaying navigation links
With the recent upgrade I am unable to Home Markets Portfolio links on the bottom. The advertisement layer overlays these buttons and cannot click them. This is forcing the user to click the ad and generate income which is not right. Please get this fixed as it is very inconvenience to navigate. I am using IOS and running the latest version of MC app
Update: 18 Aug Inspite of providing screen shots as evidence the developers are not showing any interest in fixing this known issue. Follow-up emails sent are ignored. They are forcing users to click on their advertisement to navigate within app which is unethical.

Persists and the links are still inaccessible due to the advertisement overlay. Many reminders sent to support team and just one response this will be fixed in next upload and so far no change. I do see there was a release two weeks back and this issue still persists. This means you don’t want to remove the advertisement blocking links and want users to press them for you to earn revenue. This is not a good practice.

Making it worse day by day!
It used to be a very good and smooth app. But from last few months, it takes a long time to launch with all those useless animations. Also, until you see a banner ad, you can’t do anything in the app. If you ate in slow internet connection area and the ad isn’t loaded yet, you are just stuck forever.

Wrong renewal notices
I upgraded to Super pro from pro before my plan expired. Although am on Super Pro I keep getting a warning banner for renewal of my Pro plan. Can you please correct this as it is very irritating.
1990 style Cluttered App probably built by Interns
I’ve paid for Pro. The App has so many flashy and distracting dancing icons and buttons and ads ( such as for Loan ) it feels that it was built by interns in 1990 for college students. Moneycontrol App Seriously lacks the skills and professional approach - one expects from a popular finance / wealth focused app. There are so many useless sections and buttons that I can’t remove / hide from my App , making even the useful features lost in the mess. App is too cluttered and busy. Due to this, I use the free Economics Times App more frequently compared to the MoneyControl Pro App.
First MoneyControl Team would seriously benefit from hiring a professional Product Manager for their product - who understands UX.
Second, If they allow user to choose which buttons they prefer to see and which ones they would like to hide, that would be great. Easy win. If you are unskilled, let your users take control. I’m assuming after the junk is hidden, a treasure of useful features and information may unearth.
Third, a basic feature (currently missing) that can be added is: Ability to increase the font size and background color theme.
Fourth, Economic Times provides very easy way to see Analyst Recommendations and Research Reports, MC can also improve this feature.

Too long to open
Tried from many phones. The app is slow to open.
Getting slower by the day
App is getting slower by the day, whats the point of paying subscription. Its taking longer to launch with lot of advertising even for paid subscription which is unfair.

Overall an amazing app but a few things need immediate improvement.
1. This app startup is not upto the standards. Need to load super fast without any delay. Also, switching between pages or menus is very very slow.
2. Many times, when I open a chart in full screen, it automatically switches back to portrait view and just go blank white screen. It remains same until I kill the app and open it again.
3. Upon clicking portfolio, it doesn’t show any numbers in summery. The entire portfolio will be 0 (Net worth, P&L, Daily P&L, Latest Value, Invested Value) literally everything will be zero….
