Using for many years
I’ve been using MoneyWiz for close to 10 years now and honestly it’s the best money management app I’ve ever used.
Don’t believe the hype
This is one of those app that looks really promising when you see how many positive reviews it has, but notice that most of them are from 3+ years ago.
For me it fell over a t the first hurdle, not allowing me to connect to a my bank account. When through the whole verification process several times with the same result. Nothing despite a success message.
Frankly if finances are your concern save your money with this kind of software and just set up a spread sheet in Apple Numbers for free. Sure you will have to do some manual entry but this whole syncing thing never truly works.

最近不知道什么原因，经常打开记账或者记录转账的功能的时候就会闪退，相同IC账号，但不同设备上传数据会覆盖另一个，旧的数据上传会把新的版本覆盖了找回新的记录

Great software moderately good support
The software is pretty good, and on the whole has gotten better with each release.
Unfortunately, as is the case with new programming, bugs get introduced.
My frustration is after reporting a bug, and supplying all the information needed, I have to go through the challenge of proving it is a bug and not a user error. And that has gotten very old at this point.
I have reported some 10 bugs in the 2 years I have used this product and there hasn’t been a single time where I haven’t had to jump through hoops to get the developer to actually look at the problem.
I appreciate the need to verify and screen out user errors, but it gets truly ridiculous when you report something like “balance display is displaying negative when it should be positive.” And you send screen shots.

Brilliant!
I’ve only just started using this but it’s really helpful. I was using spreadsheets previously but needed something I could use on my phone to keep everything updated on the go. This is perfect for that, and even better that it automatically download transactions from my bank.

Feed off of the app
I used this app for over five years and I think this is one of the best apps around. However after this latest update we are parting ways. I’m not going to pay $60 a year to sync expenses with my wife. That would be the only feature I use in the premium tier and it’s too much.
Update: $40 dollar increase? You’re out of your mind. Not paying that increase for the 1 feature. There are decent alternatives although they aren’t as good. If you want my business reduce this massive increase.

Great app
I have been using MoneyWiz for +5 years and I found this app the best finance Tracker app I ever tested. All my finances are now being tracked by this app. And I am happy to see it still evolving. Customer Services is very responsive and effective.
iCloud sync issues
I'm on the latest version but there still seems to be issues with icloud sync. I'm adding transactions and they don't appear in the list. Scheduled transactions don't appear when paid. And then some of the transactions are disappearing completely and I'm having to re enter. Something is seriously wrong. Are these issues all being addressed?

ReliableandFriendly
I havebeen using Moneywiz for about 12 years now on all my Apple devices. It continues to build and build on features without cluttering with a lot of “nice to have” but really not needed features. The user interface is extremely intuitive and for those moments you are maybe a little bit unsure the Support staff are readily available to guide you along or for procedures that would provide the result that you are looking for. They are forever friendly and patient in responding to questions. It is noticeable that there are very few bugs (if any showstopping ones) in new releases and updates. Strongly recommend this app for all devices and synchronising data.

Just downloaded the latest update and all my accounts were lost when I opened my accounts…

Was great until the cloud update
7/16/26 update: Now my spouse and I can’t sync anything. We have been working on this for two days, but we’ve lost all ability to share data with each other, which took away the entire reason we used it in the first place. We’re done with this app.

Последние 3 недели пользовался полностью забагованным приложением, ждал, пока исправится отображение бюджетов. И с последним обновлением аккаунт и абсолютно вся бухгалтерия обнулилась. Поддержка помогла все оперативно восстановить.

My Favorite Finance App
I have been using MoneyWiz for more years than I can remember. It is by far my favorite app. Synchronization across my devices is always seamless. The developers and support staff are always there if you need them. And the app has only gotten better with time. My highest recommendation!
Wiped my data
Woke up this morning with your latest update completely wiping my data , oh yea forgot can’t even use my backup from yesterday. I’ve been using your app for year even before you became a subscription based app and you lost a customer who now has to spend hours looking up due date for my bills and go through my checking account for transactions thanks for nothing

What a complete shame
Having used this software for years I’m absolutely gutted that the new update has complete shafted by entire database. Both iPad and iPhone have completely had their data destroyed, non reflective of my current position, and to such an extent I’d have to start again from a clean slate - losing years of data/reports. Despite the option to restore to previous backups that does not work….Im toast. I’ll have to look at alternatives now.

Wonderful but…
I’ve used this instead of just logging into my bank, I was disappointed when future balances disappeared now there’s a significant update and all my accounts are wiped - not happy if this is the state of the quality testing when developing!
Newest update
This new update has wiped ALL my data! I have a premium subscription and rely on this for my financial checking. I’m not impressed!!
Latest update deleted everything
This latest update is awful. Starts off by saying it is upgrading the database then all data was gone within seconds. Fortunately a reinstallation of the app and syncbits resync fixed the data but this is very poor! It did the same thing on all of my devices. Minor heart attack caused.
No free use - otherwise data loss
After almost two years of using the program and accumulating a large number of transaction records, all records were deleted after the latest update. I was using the free version of the app, which is probably why the developers guarantee such a negative outcome. This was a very negative experience. Based on my negative experience, I recommend backing up the program before each update.
