Aus der ehemals besten Finanz App ist seit der Umstellung des Syncs auf iCloud nur noch Schrott geworden. Der Sync klappt überhaupt nicht mehr, einige Einträge werden doppelt angezeigt, andere dafür gar nicht. Die ganzen Summen stimmen hinten und vorne nicht mehr. Es herrscht ein heilloses Durcheinander. Ich werde mein langjähriges Abo wohl kündigen. Leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen diese App.

Migration and help - A result
I’m just a simple user, managing our home accounts and like others had to move from MS Money.
Now, years later, I have migrated from the Legacy software to the Cloud system.
It was not smooth and threw up some hiccups - but this is the point of this review - the mark of the developer / company has been that ‘we’ have gone through every step, quite slowly and patiently (particularly on their part, with me having limited IT skills) and have overcome all of the little glitches.
It is to their complement that the Support backed up their department title with true actions.

Starting over
Upon further review the other apps out there just aren’t as good. They are also charging the same amount of money. I will re-review in a couple days.
No Investment Capital Gains/Losses Reporting
I purchased MoneyWiz 2026 tonight. I have been using Quicken for 20 years. I hoped that MoneyWiz could solve some of the accuracy issues in my Investment Brokerage account synchronization. Specifically I am looking for Capital Gains/Losses reporting. I actively trade and have many buy/sell transactions. The MoneyWiz product does NOT do any Capital Gains Reporting. I am very disappointed.

This is an awesome app and I’ve used it a long time.
Using for many years
I’ve been using MoneyWiz for close to 10 years now and honestly it’s the best money management app I’ve ever used.
Great customer service
Had a small problem when using MoneyWiz. Sent an email to them and within a few minutes got a response . The easy fix they suggested worked . So glad to be using MoneyWiz
Don’t believe the hype
This is one of those app that looks really promising when you see how many positive reviews it has, but notice that most of them are from 3+ years ago.
For me it fell over a t the first hurdle, not allowing me to connect to a my bank account. When through the whole verification process several times with the same result. Nothing despite a success message.
Frankly if finances are your concern save your money with this kind of software and just set up a spread sheet in Apple Numbers for free. Sure you will have to do some manual entry but this whole syncing thing never truly works.

Does not sync!!
I have a premium subscription yet my devices are not syncing. I cannot keep track of my finances, which is why I purchased this.

Great software moderately good support
The software is pretty good, and on the whole has gotten better with each release.
Unfortunately, as is the case with new programming, bugs get introduced.
My frustration is after reporting a bug, and supplying all the information needed, I have to go through the challenge of proving it is a bug and not a user error. And that has gotten very old at this point.
I have reported some 10 bugs in the 2 years I have used this product and there hasn’t been a single time where I haven’t had to jump through hoops to get the developer to actually look at the problem.
I appreciate the need to verify and screen out user errors, but it gets truly ridiculous when you report something like “balance display is displaying negative when it should be positive.” And you send screen shots.

Brilliant!
I’ve only just started using this but it’s really helpful. I was using spreadsheets previously but needed something I could use on my phone to keep everything updated on the go. This is perfect for that, and even better that it automatically download transactions from my bank.

Feed off of the app
I used this app for over five years and I think this is one of the best apps around. However after this latest update we are parting ways. I’m not going to pay $60 a year to sync expenses with my wife. That would be the only feature I use in the premium tier and it’s too much.
Update: $40 dollar increase? You’re out of your mind. Not paying that increase for the 1 feature. There are decent alternatives although they aren’t as good. If you want my business reduce this massive increase.

Great app
I have been using MoneyWiz for +5 years and I found this app the best finance Tracker app I ever tested. All my finances are now being tracked by this app. And I am happy to see it still evolving. Customer Services is very responsive and effective.
iCloud sync issues
I'm on the latest version but there still seems to be issues with icloud sync. I'm adding transactions and they don't appear in the list. Scheduled transactions don't appear when paid. And then some of the transactions are disappearing completely and I'm having to re enter. Something is seriously wrong. Are these issues all being addressed?

ReliableandFriendly
I havebeen using Moneywiz for about 12 years now on all my Apple devices. It continues to build and build on features without cluttering with a lot of “nice to have” but really not needed features. The user interface is extremely intuitive and for those moments you are maybe a little bit unsure the Support staff are readily available to guide you along or for procedures that would provide the result that you are looking for. They are forever friendly and patient in responding to questions. It is noticeable that there are very few bugs (if any showstopping ones) in new releases and updates. Strongly recommend this app for all devices and synchronising data.

Was great until the cloud update
7/16/26 update: Now my spouse and I can’t sync anything. We have been working on this for two days, but we’ve lost all ability to share data with each other, which took away the entire reason we used it in the first place. We’re done with this app.
