I don’t like the latest update that came out in the past!!👎👎👎
I don’t know what you just did for the latest update but it is not cool!😡 So the first issue is when I am writing a letter and then stop, something randomly makes it get complete. When I write again, then it’s finished already! Don’t like that at all!! The next issue is the music! Oh no! Not cool either! Alright, what’s wrong with the music? Well, the issue is that there is no sound and I can’t be able to hear so there no way you’ll listen to it, because I can’t find the audio to turn it back up so I can hear it again. That WOULD be great, but the update is awful!😖😭😣😢☹️🥺🙁😩😕😫 I love this so much. Well for now I’m deleting it anyway!

I’d like to recommend this
I wish I could recommend this but the trace the letter portion is completely broken and buggy. It often doesn’t work and requires restarting the game. I hope they take the time to update this.

I really love this app but recently the hint button appears to be broken. I’m having a student of mine practice only tracing the letters and I had turned off the hint option. But for some weird reason, the hints would continue to come on every few seconds. It got to the point where he can’t do anything because the hinting arrows would prevent him from tracing.

I REMEMBER PLAYING THIS GAME SO MUCH IN SCHOOL AND I LOVED IT SO MUCH THAT I GOT IT ON MY OWN IPAD THE MONKEY IS ADORABLE AND IM SO HAPPY THIS GAME IS STILL BEING UPDATED AND KEPT ALIVE BECAUSE TOO MANY OF MY FAVORITE GAMES AS A CHILD ARE BEING REMOVED AND STOPPED UPDATING SO THIS COMPLETELY MADE MY DAY AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO LLAY THIS AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIFE BECAUSE IT WILL CHANGE IT FOR THE BETTER!!

No difficulty settings
Very well presented but it's always the same words and there is no difficulty setting. It would be much better if you could limit it to 1-3 letter words (dog, cat, man, boy, sky...), then 1-4 letter words (girl, ball, game, play....), then 1-5 letter words (horse, house, woman, lorry....).
The price!!!
So for the bundle package of 8 apps you charge $14.99. I have 6 of these that I purchased previously, missing only 2 apps it wants me to pay $11 for those 2 that I’m missing. I can purchase them separately for $6. Are you trying to rip people off??? Or is this just a glitch in the programming????
Good app for short attention spans
As the title says this app is great for those struggling to persist and maintain attention when learning focus.

My daughter devoured these 2 apps when she was little and now she tutors other kids in math and can read easily at age 7. My other child is 3 and is constantly doing math and writing letters.. I know these games makes them crazy excited to learn..
It's super fun and my children earn fish and other prizes for a virtual aquarium.. (That I even love to play with..)
Just trust me on this! You will NOT be disappointed!

Great Quality Educational Game
We took a chance and bought the whole pack because my kids loved Monkey Preschool Lunchbox. My 5 year old loves this, especially the terrarium prizes! We love that there are multiple users and that it adjusts to her difficulty level based on her success in the games. Soon my younger one will be interested too and they can each have their own user in the game.

A little too advanced for under 5s
I love the monkey preschool range, but this app is a little too advanced for the recommended age of under 5s. My 3 year old is learning to recognise the alphabetic and their phonetics and the American accent doesn't really help
Great for preschoolers
My 3 year old is into this. She's learning and playing. She also loved Monkey Lunchbox when she was a toddler.
Tremendous game
My 4 & 5 year old love this! We have the other (educational) games in the THUP range, and this one is as good at keeping my kids wanting to come back to play it.
Simple and well done
Pur daughter loves the little monkeys, esp when they talk! She has a huge smile on her face. Very well done app.
Best reading app, but needs update
1. My daughter is learning to read from this app. It is OUTSTANDING. Well designed, tracks her progress, fun. So much fun the little brother wants to watch, which greatly increases its value in her eyes.
2. It needs an update to allow a backup of progress per child. This is important because a) it can currently only be played on one ipad, and b) it crashed the other day and lost all her progress. She didn't care about getting the easy words again, but she was unspeakably upset when it gave her a reward for her terrarium and it turned out all the previous rewards had gone and her terrarium was empty. It was devastating.

Engaging, and educational in that it uses alphabet names, letter formation, rhyming and sight word practise, but not really 'synthetic phonics' approach. More advanced than a lot of early reading apps. Love the prize terrarium although like the aquarium in the maths equivalent I often need to remind them to get back to the learning!
