I reached out to the developer and rapidly received a reply advising an update that had not yet been advised by Apple … problem solved.
App now works as it should on a platform refreshingly free of algorithmically pushed advertising

Calls would be the best idea on that app
Because instagram lets us calm people and I really wanna call my friends that join the app bring calls to this app please!!

Update heute: hat Spaß gemacht mit viel Geduld. Jetzt sollte ich mich wieder voll einloggen, obwohl ich mich nie ausgeloggt hatte Das geht gar nicht. Das war das dritte Mal in kurzer Zeit und die App ist nun gelöscht. Taugt nichts.

I’ve been using the Monnett app for a few minutes and already love what I am seeing for sure it has potential.
Irritating bug
Impossible to dismiss message notification on app icon. Even when all has been read, a number 1 remains on the icon…
Wasted Potential
Despite being American, I would love to see some quality apps from Europe. Perhaps someone can finally overcome the corporate AI slop of Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok. I agree, an ecosystem of European-owned social media is past overdue. However, you CANNOT expect to rival the American social media monopoly if your product underperforms. I would enjoy using this app...if it wouldn't lock me out every time I post a picture of a sunrise in the mountains. Been a month since I've been locked out for no reason, and the app still says, "Something went wrong," without providing further information.

I like it a lot since the last update. Its still new, but I look forwards to posting again!
Improving but still annoying
Definitely getting better slowly, but the app doesn’t automatically update, either in the background or when it’s open - you have to force it to. Notification badges remain on the app icon no matter what - it hasn’t been fixed. The presentation is somehow less immersive than other apps and you can’t delete the spam comments that are already starting to appear. More work needed.

Auch wenn an der einen oder anderen Ecke es noch Einschränkungen gibt, ist es doch eine coole App. Rom ist auch nicht an einem Tag gebaut worden. Ich nutze die App täglich.
unperfekte app mit Potential
Hat noch Luft nacb oben. Konzept gefällt mir aber. Hat finde ich als einzige europäische Plattform wirklich das Potenzial ne gute alternative für instagram etc. zu werden. macht unbedingt weiter. qualität wird sich irgendwann auszahlen :)
Viel Potential!
Man sieht wo die Reise hingeht und die gefällt mir. Einige Profile sind tatsächlich „leer“. Klar, man möchte erst einmal testen… Aber wenn man selber anfängt Bilder zu posten und bei anderen Personen reagiert, gibt es sehr wohl einen Output! Ich weiß gar nicht, wie jung die Plattform ist, aber aktuell ist sie frei von Werbung, sehr fragwürdigen Posts oder OF Nutzerinnen. Es erinnert an eine frühere Zeit von Insta, bei der Bilder noch authentischer waren. Insgesamt gibt es ein großes Spektrum an Hobbyfotografen und (semi) Professionellen Leuten.
Punktabzug gibt es, weil die App manchmal glitcht oder Fotos (werden nicht gleich beim ersten Anlauf hochgeladen. Ich denke, wenn Monnett noch mehr Nutzer bekommt, kann es richtig gut werden.

Brilliant Instagram alternative
This is work in progress, but everything functions correctly, it is a
fantastic start and totally European too.
Sure, there are some missing features and a few bugs too, but the app works well and provides a genuine ad-free, non-algorithmed alternative to Instagram.
The only downside currently is the quality of pictures: most are random snaps, taken with no care and not something you would spend time looking through.
My suggestion is to create an account quickly, while good names are still available, because people may start to up their photo game and this is may become popular platform in the future.

Tja, das EU-Insta hm? Ich glaube eher nicht. Mal abgesehen davon, dass 8/10 Profile Fake/Testprofile sind funktionieren Basics in dieser App nicht Mal. Es sollte ein BETA Schild dran sein: Fotos lassen sich nicht mit Gesten aufzoomen. Gegebene ❤️ (egal ob von einem selber oder von Anderen Usern )auf eige/ fremde Beiträge werden mal angezeigt Mal nicht. Dassselbe gilt für Kommentare. Hashtags gibt es nicht auch die Stylingoptionen für Beiträge sind bestenfalls rudimentär. Tbh. mit der Caption mit der man diese App bewirbt ist das zum fremdschämen. Sorry! A loooong way to go.

After trying to sign up 6 times on two phones it simply does nothing but keep churning so I finally gave up after wasting so much time. First app to ever do that.

Disappointment
So, i like the whole idea to step away from American and Israel intelligence. Changing a habits that were created by those lucrative strategies to keep you scrolling, with ads that tried to milk the last drop of your money and attention. The whole idea of supporting someone local, from Europe. The whole idea of stepping away from all the nonce-sense that Israel money is filtering to our screens is awesome, but this app needs to be brushed around as most things just don’t work. Updating profile picture needed two app restarts. Couldn’t make a single post on my wall. Feels like this app has no purpose not only in my app but in my life too. I wouldn’t be surprised that Apple is putting few stick in the wheels here to support their most popular apps and American businesses too as Apple itself is American. So pretty difficult to understand what is going on here…
