Great app but slow on Ipad
A very complete and creative tool, worth every penny. A delight to use on IPhone, but for some reason very slow on Ipad (mine a 12.9inch, 5th generation). Makes it barely usable, as the whole point of the app is to play with the combinations to find something that works for you image.

Understood. In order to push boundaries and experiment, it takes processing. Unfortunately, an iPad that's 9 years old might not be able to keep up with some of the filters.
bug still there
love the app but the new update said it fixed the store for the filter packs but when i try to open the new filter pack it still says "store unavailable"?
My First App Review
I love this app… I usually don’t purchase stuff on the App Store but after seeing this on an instagram ad I decided to give it a try.. I am very happy with that decision. There are so many different tools to use and experiment with, I always find a new effect to pass the time fudging the numbers with. Thank you for this app.
Side Note: I wish there was a way to use these effects with COLOR! Are there any plans to incorporate that within this app or create a separate app? Thanks

Dope app and a responsive dev
Very cool app worth every penny! Honestly I think even a bit more money would be super worth it! The developer is extremely responsive, like shockingly helpful actually. He wants to make a great app and literally applied fixes to an issue I had and uploaded the update to Apple same day! Give this a spin you don’t be disappointed.

Best photo editing app hands down with no pesky re-accruing payments.
Great for crazy image manipulation
Love the app, also love that it is just a one time fee, so much better than a subscription model! Would love the UI to be a bit more useable on phones, quite often find I can’t see whole buttons or parts of the ui.

iphone SE(2nd)の画面サイズだと, UIが画面外にはみ出してしまって、上手く操作出来ませんでした。 フィルターは直感的で面白いものが揃っているので、そこだけが残念と言うか致命的。

We apologize. We didn’t test or design for the iPhone SE (2nd Gen). The pixel resolution on a phone from 2020 is much smaller for sure. *UPDATE - We just released an update that address smaller screens! We couldn't get a testing unit as old as yours, but we did our best to accommodate older phone screens with an adjustable sizing menu and sliders.

Mono Lab is honestly perfect for making zines. It’s super easy to mess around with, and you can get really weird, raw results fast without overthinking it. The filters don’t feel basic, they actually change the vibe of an image in a real way. I’ve been using it to build pages and textures, and everything just comes out feeling more intentional. It’s one of those apps you open and lose time in.

Damn they’re perfect.
Just missing gif and transparent png integration I have to use a separate software to cut my png. being able to edit or make transparent pngs would be a life saver. You don’t even need the software to make transparent png’s just make it so when you edit the png it keeps the cut.

the quality of this app is stunning. the images and marks you can make with it are high quality (as large a file size as the one you take or import). the filters are top notch.
no complaints.
if you’re a designer, this is a great place to get you subjects, textures, stains, glitches, and vectors.
one feature request: it’d be nice to have some options for exporting, specifically for the vectors (svg). but cloudconvert is a good workaround.

Rich and comprehensive collection of FX for mono junkies
Very impressive library of effects: you’ve got all the staples for image definition and basic processing, including dithering patterns and grunge. But also, a seemingly endless library of unexpected and unique ways to glitch, distort, and even create algorithmic vectorization. Even lets you save vector effects as PDF for further manipulation on the desktop. For the price, it’s a great value.
