Outstanding app
Great app , very simple to use - now very hooked My request is pls bring out a web version - it’s tough to scale this app with just a mobile version. - it needs to coexist with a web version

The premise of Monolog really resonates with me and I feel it's up to something. sadly there was no example tasks so I am not sure how to organise my notes in depth and the support e-mail is protected by cloudfire so I can't contct the developer to ask questions. so I might try it again when the app is more mature.

Can u also add voicenote, i mean voice clips, cuz something can be spoken better and faster than writing a huge info in words, and yaa its so perfect app

Great interface with confusing limitation
The app design and interface is stellar. But confusingly, in spite of this entire “flashcard” premise, it doesn’t actually allow flash cards; it shows you the whole card including answer. Cannot use for study as a result. If this was fixed, i would happy use this app for spaced repetition/note taking, as the note links solve a huge limitation of other spaced repetition platforms.

Thank you for the feedback. The whole "flashcard" feature is planned and will be introduced as soon as possible.
Request: hide bottom bar
Can there be an option to hide the bottom bar. If you don’t need flash cards, and mostly a journal, the bottom bar has no use. The other buttons are just flash cards and contact info. Put it in a hidden slide menu on the right maybe. Like the note list on the left. Amazing app but this change would make it better.

首先字體很喜歡，不是清一色的蘋果黑體字，而是帶點圓體的字體。其次，很喜歡web clipper這個功能，試了一個比較不好抓取的網絡文章，抓取很完全。
有幾點不足，
1. 在format字體格式時，粗體，下劃線等經常不能同時生效，需要調整markdown語法前後順序。
2. 取消原先的文字格式效果很麻煩，似乎要手動刪除markdown符號，而沒有取消的快捷方式。同理還有highlight和comment功能。
3. Undo和redo似乎沒法退回局部格式操作，而是影響整篇文章。
希望能改進這些小缺點，謝謝！

Hopefully the composer of this app will develop it further. I think it has got some great potential. I wish it would be possible to embed pictures directly or go with embedded links.
I love the features it has got already. Hopefully there will be a way to sync manually. Keep the great job! Love to seeing forward how the development goes.

Not Ready
I wanted to really like this app, but it just isn't ready yet. It isn't stable, crashing on startup every now and then. Sometimes it won't let you edit anything or clikc on icons with the mouse. It doesn't handle curly quotes and appostrophes, adding extra space around them that makes a line of text look weird.
I'm uninstalling it for now. Maybe some day it'll rock my socks off. The stated goals of the app are all spot-on with what I was hoping from it, but the implementation just isn't there yet.

Interesting idea but no export feature
Great to see more Zettelkasten focused apps being developed, but the primary objective of the methodology is zero lock-in with future proofing against apps that might go out of business in the future. Exporting is a required feature for a note app to gain any traction in the Zettelkasten and PKM arena. Interested to see how this app develops over time.

Love this for my Zettlekastan!
I will give it five stars when the syncing across devices (iphone, ipad, and Mac) is quicker and consistant. Great app, lots of wonderful features.

Happy to have stumbled upon Monologue as I was searching for a Zettlekasten app that would sync to my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. I love how Monolog also has a built-in daily review of my notes, which is so useful for remembering what you are collecting. Finally, the web page download to your notes function is soooo handy! It’s early days for this app but I hope the developer continues to polish and enhance it.

The App has potential.
The UI is great, and the concept of having "mentioned" and "mentions" is nice. But as of now, there are a few issues with the app:
- Text formatting is not easy. We also need markdown capabilities to better express ourselves with elements of text.
- This is the major issue - the app crashes very consistently. It's easy to replicate this - click on the sidebar elements, one after another, and you have a crash. This is a deal breaker, so please fix this.
