Scam Service! BEWARE
Bought a $$$$ plant using this service, by far my most expensive to date!
The seller ended up trying to bait and switch the plant the night before shipping, and I ended up cancelling the order with their agreement.
The problem is, MX then proceeded to keep my $$$$?! They stopped responding to all emails when refund time came around, for WEEKS. I had to file a chargeback with my CC with two days to spare on the time limit, so I was really trying to give them benefit of the doubt.
Never using or trusting this company again.

Scam
This app is a scam. Sold a plant on here a month ago for over $500 and I still have not received my payout. I’ve tried reaching out to their support email but they have not responded to my last 3 emails.
Update: they have since responded to my emails, they said it was an issue on Stripe’s end, and asked me to provide a new bank account to try the payout again. I did this. It “failed” again. This is a bank account I use on a daily basis so I know it’s an active, open account. At this point I don’t think I’ll ever get my money. Scam artists all around.

Unbelievably glitchy app
Scrolling through to view listing is made problematic when it stops letting you scroll and starts to jump back up over and over. Also, forget filtering for anything specific or for ending soon auctions. The idea is great, the app is garbage. I’m sticking with Palmstreet.
Universal links for PlantPay broken
I bought from an IG sale and the seller used PlantPay. The link for the invoice deep links into the app but it doesn’t go to the listing page. If i force the link to open in Safari, the website says to use the app to pay. I was able to pay only by messaging the seller about the listing via the website. Once I did that and opened the app and went to messages, I was able to click through to the listing to pay. Super frustrating

Unusable
Prompts several times in a row for you to enable notifications, which only go away after you hit “cancel” on the third or fourth prompt in a row. Aspect ratio is all wrong and photos, descriptions, and other information bleed off the screen. Hard pass. I’ll just buy directly from the sellers on this app via their websites instead of wasting my time with this app built by an overworked engineer, probably.

App wont login. Wont reset password. Wont sign me up with new email. Links that are unclickable. Just a mess.
Poor owners and mgmt. wouldn’t trust them
Had issues left and right. Pay out issues, refund issues, dispute issues, complete lack of response from customer service with exceedingly incessant emails trying to reach out. Never responded. Glitches in bidding that wouldn’t submit. I bid on an auction that said I won. Went to pay and the listing then said I lost. Shady system, I think there were clearly some rigging and price fixing within the app. On top of that somehow I had excess charges from this website that were not associated with my account. So my card info was stolen and I had to close my card to prevent more charges. Huge amounts for expensive plants were clearly attempted with no reflection of the sales on my account. I made 1 purchase at that point with a second charge for almost double what I paid for my I first purchase submitted shortly after. So in my experiences this site is not secure. Id rather just make personal connections and have honest sellers sell me the plants I want. Everything about this app was shady and disappointing other than some of the plants the sellers offer here.

Top tier products
As a collector I have had a much easier time finding the plants I’m looking for and communicating with sellers. My only real issue is that I wish I could connect my PayPal for payments.
