Where is south carlsbad state beach? Can I book anything from this app ? Worst app I have ever downloaded.
Very misleading name
The California State Parks official website says there is an official app for the state park system with this name, but the link is broken. Searching for the official app by that name on the App Store brings up this app, but it isn’t even a guide to the state parks, and it’s certainly not an official one. It’s just a few tours of a very limited set of state parks. Worthless.

After reading such reviews saying how bad this app is, why not get it. How bad can it be? It can be that bad and considering no updates in 4 years, it’s of no use whatsoever. Hey nice of the abandoned app developers.

California should model their app after Colorado’s COTREX. That app is great.
Am I missing something?
Unless someone made a bundle of money by “developing” an app exclusively for the CA State Park System, I see no other reason to have an app that only shows part of the state at a time and is clunkier than Google Maps. I thought maybe they were offering an alternate map with more privacy, but the only clickable links land on... Google Maps! I must be missing something.

How about an app to use with all 289 California State Parks... this was a waste of time and States Money!!!

So I thought the Reserve California website was bad. I thought maybe there would be an app I could try. Well, to my surprise there was an app. But guess what??? It’s worse than the website. I am now thoroughly convinced than anything having to do with California is now being run by a bunch of stoners... don’t waste you time with this app as I have.

This might be the worst app I’ve ever used. It’s 2020 and this app made feel like I was using my first generation iPhone. An upgrade to this app would be to remove it from the App Store. Worst things this year; Coronavirus, the economy and this app.

What I wanted was some good maps. What you get is a show and tell tour of a small handful of parks with needless cutesy features.
