Needs update
Not compatible with iPhone X or newer, nor iOS 12. Nice app for playing reading readiness with a preschooler, but locks up my iPhone X because you can’t get out of it without a home button. It doesn’t respond to usual swipe gestures. I have to pull down like on my old iPhone and select a recent notification to go to another app to close out. Don’t get if you have an iPhone with no home button.

Needs words under pictures
Some pictures appear multiple times with different words assigned to them. Like the picture of the taxi uses cab and taxi to rhyme.

The games has great pictures. The game needs to repeat the rhyming words after the user makes the correct selection, in order to reinforce the skill.
Needs more detail
The basic concepts of the app is good. However, there is no instructions how to play the activities. I would suggest to the app developers that you add instructions that can be both read and heard and an option of pressing the picture to hear the word. There is also no sound. A big visual and auditory response to correct answers really is important to children.

I'm trying to teach my son the concept of a rhyme and this was one of the downloads I got today. It doesn't repeat the words after you do a matchup. Which would be a good idea for educational purposes. Discarding this one.
Does not assess rhyming
Was using with my four year old to assess his rhyming. Unfortunately, it does not accurately assess rhyming - it assess whatever you touch. For instance, in the levels 2 and 3, it asks the child to match the item on the left (which isn’t very developmentally appropriate for a young learner anyway), and does not name the pictures. Thus, what does a four year old do? Touch them. Whenever you touch the right one, you get a green check and you are deemed proficient. Unfortunate because the interface is nice and the pictures are quite clear.
