Mobile Game is broken AGAIN
It was broken last weekend and now it’s broken again in less than a week. No way to report. I would never pay to play this game. It’s unreliable. Probably time to remove from App Store.
Makers got way too money-hungry
Love the game, but it’s just ridiculous how greedy the makers got with this one. You have to watch commercials to play every single game, or wait 10mins before playing a game (which lasts 60sec), or pay cash for every bonus without which you cannot advance in the game.
I would be fine with playing free trial and then purchasing full version, like in most games. This one here is just not enjoyable.

Usual play, expensive bonuses
While this has the play I know and love from the Montezuma games, being awarded bonuses just to have to pay real cash to use them feels like a cheat. You can't advance too far without the bonuses so if you don't pay, you're stuck.
I prefer the original games where you earned stars to buy the totems and bonuses ONCE and that was it.
No way am I shelling out cash just to make the game easier.

Sloooooow
Really liked this game though I hadn't played for a while. Thought I'd play a few but am finding the whole game seriously unresponsive and slow. Haven't had problems with other games including bejewelled, another match3 game, and I'm running latest OS on iPad3. Not sure if it's the latest update, their server or what but it's frustrating. :(

Please fix this so it quits freezing at Progress Syncing!!! I can't ever play anymore 😂

Excellent match three game that is sometimes too challenging with completion of a challenge waiting for a luckier day.
Earning power ups watching videos.
I lost 440 points when, for the umpteenth time, I boosted green with 400 for super boost and 40 for red. Want to earn more by watching a video? Sure. It either freezes up or takes me thru video, then freezes and takes my points when I have to start over the game. Been playing this fast paced, fun game a year or more. Fix is needed here. And I want my points returned. Also, some of the levels are almost impossible to accomplish, using power ups or not. Let's be realistic! Rating very low till fixes are in place.

Starting to be disappointed....
I really like this game but am disappointed with the glitches, after watching a video to get a free totem the game freezes and I lose the totem. Also while doing a task event I'm not getting any gems for completing tasks.

Game is fun but you have too many ads which appear on top of the game and cannot be closed. You can't play when the game is covered up.
Disaster!
There are so many negative issues with this game that I honestly don't know where to start. First of all, ads for other games pop up and block the screen so I can't even play my time bonus without resetting my iPad each time. Second, you can't get ANYWHERE in this game without spending money, or being asked to spend money. This game, in short, is all about ads and rip offs. Try something else. This one is ready for the garbage can!!!

Too monetized to enjoy
This is a cute retake on Montezuma 3, however Alawar is more focused on profit than user enjoyment. Gone are the days of trying out a limited version of a game and purchasing a full version if you like it. Now game designers are more focused on monetizing the entire experience. Alawar gives you the option of obtaining free lives if you seduce your facebook friends into playing; you get more gems if you allow hackers and spammers access to your device, since most of the offers are bogus. The same for spins.
I have played Montezuma 3 for over a year and turned to this game while Alawar fixes it. However, I am utterly turned off by the overtly over commercialization of the game, it simply is not a fun diversion anymore.
Pass on this one. Wait until a real robust game comes out that does not demand you purchase a better playing experience, by spending your next ten pay checks.

Just ok
Loved montezuma 3, but this is just a micropayment game. Takes too much time to get passed levels, now I cannot even get to the slot machine to get gems to play due to servers unavailable. I'd much rather pay $5 for a good solid game then a constant work in progress.

Love the game. But did the update. Now can't access tournament and lost all my bonuses I'd win!! What the heck??!! Plus there's no way to get any extra help

After I updated to ios8 and updated this game i lost all my stats and 80,000 points
I was not able to play the game as it kept blacking out. Today i updated The game and it brings me back to the beginning... I WAS ON LEVEL 93 or somewhere up there... This happened once before with the last update too. WHY WONT IT RESTORE PURCHASES? And why wont it restore my status! I DO NOT WANT TO START AGAIN SO I THINK IM DONE WITH THIS GAME...

Montezuma 3 is my all time favorite game. I was hopeful and optimistic about this new release. It's not even close, maybe this update will help. I don't want to keep buying time, tokens etc on every turn and 7 minutes isn't enough time to play... This is a real money pit.

Crashes after ios8 update!
I was starting to enjoy the game and I was already in level 99; then I updated to ios8, now it crashes and won't open fully. Plus, all my levels disappeared and I'm back to zero!
