Monthkeep

Monthkeep is a budget app that keeps everything on the device. There is no account, no sign-in, no bank connection and no network requests of any kind — entries are stored in local SQLite and never leave the phone. Airplane mode does not change how it works. You enter what you spend, set up recurring bills and income, and the app projects when the money runs out and what is left at the end of the month. Fixed costs and costs that vary from month to month, like heating or hydro, are tracked separately so estimates never get confused with certainties. Separate books keep personal money and a side business apart. Shortfall reminders arrive three days and one day before a bill that looks like it will not clear — but only once you have told the app roughly what is in your account, and only as a projection based on what you have entered, never as a claim about your real bank balance. No account. No sign-in. No ads. No analytics. No servers. Monthkeep makes no network requests at all — everything lives on your device, and nothing is ever uploaded.
