Why Does The Gazette Still Disallow Commentary ? YOU’RE All WE’VE GOT ?
Overall a great paper but disallowing commentary puts the public at a major disadvantage and severely restricts public reaction and momentum when change or at least awareness are most important.

Worst newspaper app
I’ve got half a dozen newspaper subscriptions and apps. They all work: NYT, G & M, JdeM, La Presse, even The Suburban. Only the Gazette app is routinely not updating, forcing me to sign in even though I’m subscribed, and otherwise annoying. If it keeps up I’ll cancel my subscription which I truly want to avoid doing.

New app is terrible
App tells me every day to sign in, and once in a while tells me I have no account. I have also not received the Saturday paper edition 4 weeks in a row. Very frustrating.

Postmedia, fix your apps. It’s been a month.
It was fine before. Now haven’t been able to access the app for a month… Postmedia should have better customer service and fix my account without having email back and forth or call me back. I don’t blame the gazette, they’re at the mercy of Postmedia who clearly doesn’t care about local readers by allowing this issue to drag on for a MONTH! What a joke!!

It doesn’t work
It downloads old stories with an old format. Looks much different ( and much worse) than what is seen by accessing paper by web browser. Complaints have been acknowledged but unanswered otherwise. The Montreal Gazette: Yesterday’s news tomorrow
I’m having problems with my gazette app !
My app both on my iPad and iPhone is not updating to the latest stories of the Montreal GAZETTE! I find this is really annoying since I can’t reach anyone or technical support! Can you help me people from the Montreal GAZETTE huh ?
Waisted opportunity
Our family has been Gazette readers for over 50 years, as our paper subscription ended a few years ago, this app was our last attempt to connect with Gazette writers once again. Shame no effort was given to modernize. Good luck with the future if this is all we can offer.
Unable to close the ads
It plays an ad when you open the app, it has the close button on the top right, but guess what, even after you watch the full ad, you still can't close it, it simply stays there...
Disappointed
The news is good but the lack of basic functionality such as the inability to look up or copy words, or expand an image, make for an incomplete news experience.

Like so many others have said on here…what a shame and terrible experience this has become since going to the subscription model with their update.

Terrible app
The updated app is absolutely terrible. The font is too small. It’s supposed to be an app with all post media newspapers in one. Good intent but extremely poor execution. Stories are repeated in the feed over and over.
Deleted after this update
After years of using Montreal Gazette app I had to delete it after it was updated to the new version, as it it completely useless…..
Subscription
Apparently now you have to pay for this. Absolutely horrible, especially that the app doesn’t even work properly. Same stories keep coming up. Shame on you
