Too dramatic
25% of the game is slow reveals, slowly turning boxes to select a level. Lacks the fun aspect of Part one and is more of an interactive story.

5 stars this game is fun and weird but the ghost people are really annoying and they just talk while you do all the work but other than that this game might be better than the first one especially how you can draw shapes now however the box level in the first game no diffs the second one and the 3 is worse than both

Great game but …
Love the game but the rocket in the upper right corner gets in the way visually and distracts from the beauty of the game. I understand that Apple wants to get people to subscribe to their game platform, but such a rich company scooping even more money from subscriptions is irritating to me.

I love this whole series of games so much, but this one was my absolute favourite!
All the puzzles are so creative and fascinatingly beautiful. The music was amazing and the story line was well thought through. It has been a pleasure to play this game and the other games in this series.
Each puzzle presented in this causes you think and is a good balance between both challenge and enjoyment.
Definitely worthwhile to get.

I love this game
Not lying no internet needed so car ride perfect worth the money it’s gorgeous cozy and fun you can just relax and play the graphics is amazing I haven’t got bored the deal comes with a bundle perfect game and recommend to get it if you have money

A good game that challenges your perception and makes you look at things differently. For 5 bucks I would have liked more challenging puzzles. The game was over before I knew it. I’m gonna try MV3, hoping it delivers.

I love this game and the story behind it. It’s so good to have the same experience with the game and the game is just as fun to watch as it is to play it on your tablet
Huge disappointment
All of the negative feedback is accurate and after five years the developers have yet to rectify the constant complaints of the reviewers.
-The game is way over priced for how little substance is in the game. As an adult, I completed this in 20 minutes. Not worth $8.
-The levels are barely levels. The whole game is as long as one of the longer levels for Monument Valley (MV1).
-The ‘puzzles’ are repetitive and predictable not like in MV1 when you think you learned the pattern/sequence but suddenly there is a new lever to pull/twist/etc or suddenly you’re walking on walls.
-This was clearly a rush job based off of the success for the first game and then a cash grab.
I gave it 2 stars because whilst it could be considered an amazing game if you never experienced MV1 it is an over-priced huge let down to fans that the developers don’t care when critical reviews are consistent in feedback/complaints going back five years.

Beautiful art & soundscaping
It’s impressive. The stunning visuals are my favorite part of this, but the sweet details like the mother and her daughter’s relationship with each other make it even better. The lost forest add on is also really nice! It’s a bit tricky though.
