Not too sure.
A good game that challenges your perception and makes you look at things differently. For 5 bucks I would have liked more challenging puzzles. The game was over before I knew it. I’m gonna try MV3, hoping it delivers.
It’s really good and amazing

Great puzzle game
Monument valley 2
It is great
Monument Valley
I love this game and the story behind it. It’s so good to have the same experience with the game and the game is just as fun to watch as it is to play it on your tablet
Huge disappointment
All of the negative feedback is accurate and after five years the developers have yet to rectify the constant complaints of the reviewers.
-The game is way over priced for how little substance is in the game. As an adult, I completed this in 20 minutes. Not worth $8.
-The levels are barely levels. The whole game is as long as one of the longer levels for Monument Valley (MV1).
-The ‘puzzles’ are repetitive and predictable not like in MV1 when you think you learned the pattern/sequence but suddenly there is a new lever to pull/twist/etc or suddenly you’re walking on walls.
-This was clearly a rush job based off of the success for the first game and then a cash grab.
I gave it 2 stars because whilst it could be considered an amazing game if you never experienced MV1 it is an over-priced huge let down to fans that the developers don’t care when critical reviews are consistent in feedback/complaints going back five years.
Definitely worth skipping this purchase.

Beautiful art & soundscaping
It’s impressive. The stunning visuals are my favorite part of this, but the sweet details like the mother and her daughter’s relationship with each other make it even better. The lost forest add on is also really nice! It’s a bit tricky though.

Amazing Game
It is heartwarming
Best game ever
Monument valley is one of my favorite games! Challenging and beautiful. Please make more!
4$ for my 8yo to finish it in one day
We had this game years ago and it lasted months - we never made it to the end I don’t think. They’ve made it 4$ and taken away a ton of levels. I paid for two app (the OG and the 2nd monument valley) bc we love the game but both were completed in one day. Total rip-off and a huge shame to create something so cool and then make it so disappointingly short lived when years ago, it was free and we got to play it for a very long time.

Loooooovvee this
Perfect for me 🤩
The music was majestic and I loved the challenges and plot, great game
I love ro
It is very good but if I play an old level I get stuck 😆
Looks good, not much to play
The game is well made. It’s smooth, visuals look good, and the controls are decent, but it’s not much of a puzzle at all. It never gets more challenging than it is on the first level.
Each new level introduces a slightly different mechanic, however it’s all pretty much just the same basic puzzle over and over.
There are no levels that combine multiple mechanics, so every time you beat one section, you never see that mechanic again. It does not build upon itself. I beat the whole thing very casually relatively quickly so it was a pretty big letdown based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I never had to think about to solve the puzzle, you just rotate until it’s correct.
Not a good buy for adults who like puzzle games.

Disappointing
Very expensive and very disappointed in this game. Three levels is all I could find and they were so easy. Wishing I had not purchased it. Also have message on Facebook and not had a reply.
Have removed and re downloaded this game and cannot get past the opening. Keeps going back to beginning. Very frustrating.
This is a review I wrote some time ago. Now trying the game again in 2026.
Still con only get to level 2 despite reloading three times.
Still frustrated.

Not as challenging as the first one
Honestly I’m not fussed about the price but it felt like half of the levels weren’t really puzzles, more just turning something until it fit like a children’s toy.
I still enjoyed it and the story was nice but I think this was more story led than game led as the game itself did most of the work.
