Beautiful game with a healthy level of puzzle challenge. I finished it in under 2 hours though unfortunately.

I just have to say this game is a puzzle game and everyone’s saying it’s not. It’s just kind of dumb like maybe you think it’s not a puzzle game because maybe they think it’s easy but it’s still a puzzle game and then also. This looks like kind of game. They have an awesome story that goes very deep into some sort of philosophy. I was a bit disappointed that it doesn’t. It’s just kind of. Ida, take shape, but shape is good for people and. Ida not supposed to have shape so she learned that somehow and start to return shape and then good yay. Honestly, the gameplay is really good. The price is annoying but perfectly fair. I think all the people saying it’s overpriced or just used to every mobile game being free. But with predatory in app purchases. Put 11 beautiful thought out levels for the original price and eight more for an extra one dollar or two is a really good price. Considering these levels are beautiful and you have to think of the amount of work it takes for the code to take into account every single possible illusion, because you can’t just 3-D model it then put some script in that she walks if there’s a path because then if the path is just an illusion, she wouldn’t actually walk there. It takes a lot of work to make sure every illusion physically possible works it’s also beautiful at the same time so it’s a great game really good. Some of the one star reviews are just kind of. I think they’re all used to every single mobile game being free so the second one of them is paid they get angry

I started play monument valley 8 years ago. I stopped after a few months and didn’t start playing again until now. I remember how much fun I had playing the game and I used this game to kill time when I was bored. I make fan art of this game as well. Anyways this game is just really beautiful and I find it relaxing.

Monument Valley is the modern art of video games. It’s not an animation, it’s not a story, it’s not a game, it’s just shallowly pretending to be all of those. It doesn’t challenge or push any of those disciplines, it just does a good job of looking as if it’s doing those jobs. Like a typical American white collar officer worker.
Usually a movie gets you emotionally invested enough for you to focus solely on it. A game challenges you enough for you to focus to try and solve the puzzle. Monument Valley isn’t challenging enough in anyway to push you to actually pay attention to it. You can literally just button mash the touch screen till you get to the end in one lazy sitting.

Beautiful and creative game
I love this series of games so much. All the puzzles are so creative and fascinatingly beautiful. Each puzzle makes you think and is a good balance between challenge and enjoyment.
