Helpful, easy, free

Just started using and see it will be very useful. Would like to request the possibility of selecting NEUTRAL for emotions.

Absolutely love it, but one issue.

I love this app and it helps me so much with figuring out the exact emotions im feeling but there are some issues im having. When i type i cant see my text at all and i have to leave the typing box to see if i made any mistakes. That's basically the only problem im having and i would love if it could be fixed. I know there was an update a week ago for this problem but im still having it.

Love it

I can’t say enough how much I love this app! It has everything needed to get all your emotions out and log corresponding notes. Multiple entries a day can be made. At a glance, colour coded comparisons can be viewed to help you see any correlations between habits and feelings and any other patterns. My teen daughter was getting overwhelmed with emotions and I showed her this - she said it really helped. I can’t believe it doesn’t have more reviews. Well done!

Simple and easy

Only note I would say is that the Journal doesn’t scroll so once you write as low as the keyboard you can no longer see what you are typing.

This app helped me go through though stuff

Just wanted to leave a review because I’m recommending this app to my friends and I’m surprised it doesn’t have more reviews! I love this app so much, it helped me go through difficult periods of my life and I’ve been using it on and off for the past 3 years. It’s so simple and it really helps to understand how I’m really feeling, specially when I feel like I have no clue how I feel. I love to have a mood log to keep track of how I felt in certain situations and be able to re-read them sometimes. Again, I love this app, thanks for creating it!

Phenomenal

Far and away the best mood tracking app I've ever used, solely because it allows me to express my range of emotions instead of limiting me to "happy emoji" or "sad emoji". The ability to limit or increase faces was also immensely helpful, as the faces are distracting for me. Though the app seems deprecated, it'll be the mood tracker I use for the foreseeable future, and the first I'll use consistently.

I’m bipolar. I love this app! Could use some things

I do seriously love this app.

I am bipolar and use this app to watch my moods and how the fluctuate and to help me pay attention to my emotions and how they affect me and what may be affecting me to have specific emotions. I also got pregnant and stopped taking my medicine for baby and since having my daughter (11 months ago) I haven’t taken my meds. So it just helps me watch my moods.

Just a few things I could suggest:
- a “no mood” option. Like, something to show that you really don’t have a feeling or emotion. Kind of blank. I track my moods multiple times a day and would like to see that in the pie chart.
- maybe a “took medicine?” Option.
- search bar, to find moods/emotions.

Other than that, it’s great. I have no complaints. And even without these few things I suggested, it’s still wonderful! Thank you

Good

Only complaint is I wish there were more emotions. Specifically ones like disinterested or overwhelmed. I feel like positive emotions can be more general but negative emotions need very specific words to capture the exact way that someone feels. Just a thought. Also the faces are kinda creepy

It’s a good start but…

I felt really disappointed that “overwhelmed” was not a choice for emotion logging. Feeling overwhelmed is super common for me and usually a good indicator of how my depression is affecting me, in fact it was one of the main feelings I wanted to track so unfortunately I deleted this right away. I think it would be really great if more of a range of emotions were added perhaps with more input from people with mood disorders.

Great concept- needs more emotions

I love this app and find it helpful to track my moods/ feelings... But I find that half the time I search for a specific mood/feeling and it’s not there. I wish there were more options, or an option to create your own feelings that could become categories tracked by the app.

Exceptional tracker

Just found this app and I find it extraordinarily well made and thoughtfully attuned to what the user needs. It has just the right amount of detailed options to actually get something useful out of the data the user inputs. 100% recommended.

Barry, please continue to support the app and keep up the great work on this. I’d suggest adding dark mode capability. Thanks!

Emotional Support

I’ve used the app for the past week and have noticed a substantial shift in my world. I have always had trouble identifying my emotions, childhood emotional neglect, and this app was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to the developer for helping me become more attune with myself.

Beautifully simple app that does exactly what I need

I want to increase my emotional awareness and vocabulary and this is perfect. It simply displays all of the emotions allowing me to see lots at the same time. I find this approach helps me to home in on which ones feel right.
Being able to switch between short and longer lists keeps the display compact while offering the chance to work with the nuances of emotion if you choose.
I also think it’s genius to have included the possibility to record physical factors at the same time. I feel I am able to capture a complete and rounded view of where I am.
Thank you so much!!

Great!

I have a personality disorder and multiple mental and physical afflictions, I know app I’ve used before has actually led me to more insight about how i’m functioning realistically than this one. I started noticing patterns and was able to try to correct myself consciously. The only thing that gets me down about this app, it’s just the small number of emotions. So please please please please please add more emotions and feelings as options!

Good but needs a feature to add your own emotions

I like the app

Most Useful Mood Log App

I love using this app to log my mood.

I would like to suggest some additions.

1 - ICloud support, I would love to see support for iCloud sync. This would be soo handy, because I log my moods on my phone and I would also like to do it on my iPad. I’m visually impaired so it’s sometimes hard to see the on screen keyboard. I’m starting to use notes to wright down my mood log using a keyboard and an IPad Pro 12.9 2018. then go into notes on my phone and copy and paste my note to mood log. It would be so much easier to type directly onto mood log and it update on my phone.

2. Notes beside mood range. What I am meaning by this is that I would like to see next to where you slide the bars the number range with a quote like for example with the Sleep category, 10 for well awake or for like -10 very sleepy.

3. Larger text sizes, like I said before I’m VIP so looking what I wrote on the log is hard to see, especially on my phone. It would be really helpful if you could change the text size.

4. Mood Vlog, some days I’m not feeling like writing down what I’m feeling. I would love to see a mood vlog option where I can voice record my mood. This is especially handy when you go to bed. At the moment I record myself and tell my mood but that takes up storage.

5 - Online cloud. This would be great for mood vlogs so instead of it storing in your phone or iPad you can store it on a cloud. Maybe iCloud or a server or google drive or something like that.

6. More reminders to log your mood. Can you please add this I only can set about 6 notifications but I would like to make more or set unlimited ones.can you please add this.

7. iPad compatibility, I would like to see mood log in a full iPad experience not just like when you use iPhone apps on your iPad. Please add this too.

Please consider these additions. It would really help with my experience with mood log.

Thanks, God bless.

Does what I need

Simple easy and clear to use

Needs better set of emotions

This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for, however the list of possible emotions to select from could stand to be improved. There are WAY too many synonyms (Joyful, blissful, ecstatic, euphoric, enthralled,…) and feelings like “stressed” and “overwhelmed” are missing.

So elegant!

There’s a lot of ways a program that logs mood can go wrong. This app gets it right. I particularly like the mood selection screen. I love the consistency between text and illustration.

Good App

I wish the app was password protected.
