Great ambient music generator
I just wished there were more presents and a variety of sound samples. Otherwise it generates great ambient music.
I want to like it, but…
Nice interface, nice sounds, BUT it is useless for pro recording. It is the only audio app I have which does not recognize my iRig audio interface, and Audiobus does not see it at all. The manual says it supports IAA, but not on my iPad. So, I can listen to it on my iPad, but that’s it.
Also, it looks like the developer has given up on this, as the last update was 3 years ago.

Wonderful introduction
I first heard Moodscaper on YouTube and thought that sounds very good. I was so pleased with what I heard I bought an old iPad and my first download was this free version.
I’d been looking for something like this for years and had made a couple of drone synths to make soundtracks for my videos. They weren’t quite what I wanted though and I had to fiddle with them in Audacity to get something a little bit better.
My interest is in photography and video making and my musical skills are zero. But, I still wanted to be able to make my own soundtracks, being a bit stubborn. This LE version is superb and a wonderful introduction to all the other ‘scapers. I do have all the others but still use LE because it is an instrument on its own and not to be sidelined even if you do have all the others.
Fair play to Rob for giving away something that is just as superb as the other versions. If your hovering about making a decision please download now, you’ll be amazed at its capabilities.
