Does not work

After having paying for and downloading this app once I logged into it I never got past the “What brings you to Moofment?” Page. Whichever option I pressed it did nothing. And didn’t proceed. I got nothing whatsoever from this app. When I clicked for App Support on the App Store it just took me to a webpage.

Thanks for the detailed report, and we're sorry you got stuck right after buying. Moofment needs a couple of permissions, which you'll be asked for right on the onboarding screens. If those aren't allowed, the app can hang on the loading screen on v3.1, so please go through the tap to allow each one as you go. It's all needed to get you riding. If you're still stuck after that, email vanmoofer@gmail.com and we'd love for you to revisit your review once it's up and running!

Features I always missed in standard app

I am a VanMoof S6 biker and have always complained that the list of features of the standard app is quite limited. No wonder: The manufacturer wants to sell its paid Ride Pro subscription, which offers features that I expect as standard. Now the wonderful Moofment app accompanies me.

Best Vanmoof App

I love this app after using the limited official Vanmoof app! I saw the Moofment app on an advert on Instagram and so I downloaded it when it was released joined as a founding member and so glad I did this app is everything you need for your beloved Vanmoof! Go and download this amazing app now

biiig respect for this

really bold move to drop an app like this for such a small crowd. i knew about vanmoofer.com even before i got my s5 so i was hyped when i saw this launch.

design is clean, everything’s working smooth so far. hope more people hop on soon. looking forward to meeting other vanmoof folks around nyc. especially here in the us, we gotta support each other. vanmoof needs a reason to come back strong, and this app might just be that

Thanks so much for the support! The adoption rate in the US is still really low (only recently did it reach double digits) so it would be amazing if you could help spread the word. :) Hopefully more riders will jump in after VanMoof starts operations there. We’re also excited to see more VanMoof enthusiasts connecting, especially in the USA!

Does not work

I bought it to unlock my S5 to 37kmh but it does not work. I tried multiple times without success. Moofmate works for 32kmh though.

Just to clarify for others, 37 km/h (for Series 5) has never been a supported or advertised feature of this app. Software adjustments are limited by firmware, anything beyond that would require hardware modification. It’s also worth noting this comment promotes a different app, so readers should consider that context when evaluating it.
