Moon Lunation

Version 4.0 - the app has been rebuilt from scratch. If you owned the original Lunation, this is a different app under the same name. Please read the two changes below before updating. PHASE TIMES ARE NOW COMPUTED The old version read its phase times from a fixed table covering 1996 to 2010, and estimated the dates in between. That table ran out years ago. This version calculates the Moon's position directly, from the geometry of the Sun, Earth and Moon, for any date from 1 January 2000 to 31 December 2050. The results are checked against NASA JPL's DE440 planetary ephemeris. THE CITY LIST HAS BEEN REMOVED The old version let you pick a city. That feature is gone, and so is location access entirely - the app no longer asks for your location and makes no network requests of any kind. ne 9:53 PM What's new in this version The old version let you pick a city.
