About

Moondrift is for the part of the night when you have already tried. You have put the phone down twice. You have turned the pillow over. It is later than it was, and the thing you were thinking about is still there. This is not an app that asks you to do anything about that. Pick a sound. Set a timer. That is the whole interface. WHAT'S INSIDE Thirty tracks, in three kinds. MUSIC — eight long, slow pieces. Not four-minute loops on repeat: these run for hours and never arrive anywhere, because arriving somewhere is what wakes you up. Most of the music and sounds are mixed in 8D — a slow orbit around your head that never quite comes back to the same place. Best with headphones. SOUND — seventeen recordings. Rain on cedar. Distant waves. A campfire. Crickets in a summer meadow. A thunderstorm. Wind through pines. A cat purring. A slow heartbeat. The foghorn on the North Sea, calling out every two minutes into nothing. Real recordings, not synthesised hiss. VOICE — guided wind-downs, spoken slowly, that never bring you back. Every other meditation returns you to the room at the end: it re-engages you, invites you to notice things, sometimes rings a bell. That is right for practice and it is exactly wrong for sleep. These simply run out. The voice gets quieter, says less, and stops, and the sound underneath it keeps going. You should not be able to find the moment it ended, because you should already be gone. HOW IT BEHAVES AT NIGHT The screen is a moving night sky, dim enough to leave face-up on the nightstand. The moon crosses it in its real phase for tonight. Set it for twenty minutes, or an hour, or eight — or leave it running until morning. It keeps playing when the screen locks, and it will not wake you to ask whether you are still listening. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No subscription. No advertisements. No account, no email, no sign-up. No streaks, no badges, no notifications asking where you have been. It collects nothing about you, because it does not need to. Five tracks are free, forever, with no trial and no countdown. One payment opens the whole library — and everything added to it from then on. Not a year. Not a plan. Once. Inner Path Coaching innerpathsanctuary.com
