About

Pause for 60 seconds. Find the moon. Leave one line for tomorrow. Moonjot is a quiet journal for your night. Each evening, the moon phase and tonight's weather paint a different scene — open the app, and a new sky greets you. Write what you couldn't say to anyone today, in 120 characters. Tag your mood. Close the app. Then, 30 nights later, the same moon returns. Moonjot brings back what you wrote that night. A small reunion with your past self, by moonlight. ■ WHY MOONJOT Light by design 120 characters, 4 mood tags. No blank-page anxiety. Built for nights when "today was just… tired" is enough. A sky that changes every night Moon phase x weather creates a unique scene. You'll want to open the app just to see tonight's view. Moonbound Memory 30 nights later, on the same lunar phase, your past entry returns to you. The longer you write, the richer this nightly ritual becomes. Moonlight reflections (Premium) Optional AI gently reflects on your day from the moon's perspective. Quiet, never preachy. A Home Screen widget Tonight's moon and weather, always glanceable. The ritual begins before you open the app. Local-first & private Your words stay on your phone. No login, no cloud sync, no tracking, no account required. ■ WHO IT'S FOR • You feel restless after scrolling and want a quieter way to close the day • You tried Day One or Notion and stopped — they were too heavy • Mood trackers (Daylio) felt too clinical • You love the moon, the night sky, and small rituals before sleep • You keep a widget on your Home Screen ■ HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Moonjot when night falls 2. Watch the moon and weather settle in 3. Write a single thought (up to 120 characters) 4. Pick how you feel from 4 mood tags 5. Place the widget on your Home Screen — the moon stays with you PREMIUM (¥980 / one-time) Unlock unlimited moon memories, the memory library, mood-by-moon-phase charts, and 5 moonlight reflections per day. One-time purchase — no subscription, ever. ■ PRIVACY Your entries stay on your iPhone. No cloud sync, no account, no tracking. Backup is opt-in via local export/import. Tonight, look up. Then write one sentence. Terms of Use: https://ppoonn.net/moonjot-legal/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://ppoonn.net/moonjot-legal/privacy-policy.html

What's New in Moonjot

1.1.0

September 2, 2026

1.1.0 is a quiet release: the kind of fixes you notice by not noticing them. Entries land on the right night - The day now turns at moonset for the city you chose. The home screen, the calendar, notifications and the widget all mean the same "today". - Crossing midnight mid-dialog no longer saves your words to a night you did not agree to. - Overwrite prompts now say what would be lost, not how the save got there. One name for one moon - The phase shown on the home screen, the calendar, a notification and the widget no longer disagree about the same night. Backups - Exports now carry your Moon Memory notes. Reinstall, and the words that cannot be written again are still there. - Entries written on this device during an import are kept, not overwritten. Widget - No more yesterday's sky, and no more clear skies the app never saw. - Display settings now take effect right away. Also - Fixed missed notifications, and reminders that survived a full reset. - Faster launch. - The Moon Memory library now loads a little at a time.
