*Eclipse Live Activity* Just in time for the August 12 Total Solar Eclipse and August 27-28 Partial Lunar Eclipse, Moonlitt 2.8 introduces the Eclipse Live Activity, bringing the eclipse timeline to the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. It focuses on phase timings and key upcoming moments, helping you stay oriented during the eclipse while keeping the guidance simple and non-disruptive. This update also brings a new Events and Eclipse details screen, for a much clearer and on-point experience. What's more: - The Events screen in Info now shows both astronomical events like eclipses and supermoons, and moon names and traditions. - The eclipse details screen now shows eclipse times with seconds for improved precision. - The eclipse details screen now includes the ability to view weather conditions at start, end, and maximum of the eclipse. - You can now filter the contents of the Events screen based on your preferences. - You can start an Eclipse Live Activity demo that will simulate the actual event's phases and duration at any time before the eclipse occurs. - You can now select the location directly from within the eclipse details screen. - The events tab on Apple Watch was completely reworked to match the new and improved design on iPhone. - Improved reliability of the Moon Path Live Activity. - Slightly improved performance throughout the app. - Fixes several visual nuances and animation glitches. - Updated atmospheric data to December 2025 to improve lunar eclipse color predictions. - Updated internal components.
