Hi, i was also a dusk wood player as well. Playing this game you have three main problems: the ratio of story time and minigame time. As the other comments said, most of this mini games are too hard, so the player will tend to spend more time than necessary on the mini games to earn one or two minutes of story time. Duskwood had the same problem so I was hoping Moonvale would be better since it’s the newest game: unfortunately, it hasn’t gotten better. Either your solution is to make the mini games a little more bearable and increase the amount of story time that occurs or remove them altogether as they don’t serve much purpose. Secondly, gems and money, I get that the team needs to make money some how to produce more of these episodes for us but paying for each full content per episode isn’t great. duskwood, which you could unlock all content for every episode in one buy, is more efficient for the player. Lastly, this is my personal taste, is the ai generated images, personally, you could have just let us have our profile made blank for the whole game. And for the other ai generated pictures in your introduction of the game, you could simple remove them as well. It’s a shame that I can’t enjoy the story fully.

ALMOST five stars
First of all, I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a game but this one deserves it. This tests your listening, retention, and deduction skills to the max. You fall in love with all of the characters and truly feel immersed in the game. I played for literally HOURS and HOURS each day and it still took me about 5 days to beat all of the episodes that have been released. This is probably my favorite game I’ve ever downloaded. BE ADVISED THE GAME IS NOT FINISHED YET! That was a sad/ happy surprise when I finished episode 3.
A few minor flaws with it:
1) I don’t like that you have to play 3-5 mini games after each scene to unlock the next part. If I’m paying the $8 to unlock all the parts of that episode, I feel as if it should cover that as well. It can get insanely expensive buying diamonds to try and skip that stupid match game so you can get to the next episode. I would much rather pay a higher fee to buy the game than feel like I’m getting scammed because I want to know what happens. I would recommend either charging 15-20 to unlock all features of that episode or charge a flat rate of $20 for the game and add in different puzzles that don’t cost money but you have to beat to continue than swindling your customers out of more money.
2) Some of the missions or whatever they’re called that you have to beat in order to get diamonds are frustrating. I get not wanting to reveal anything for the plot line but one of them is “get compared to so and so (not giving away spoilers on purpose)” but you have zero idea when or how you’re supposed to do that. The other one is “flirt with so and so while he does this task” which I did, but it didn’t credit that one
All and all I would rate this game a 4.7 out of 5 stars but it would be 5/5 with fixes to those parts.

Top Notch
The best “game” I’ve ever played in my entire life. I feel like I’m IN it. From the Story posts to the FaceTime calls, they bring you inside the game and into the adventure. My heart is literally beating out of its chest. PLEASE HURRY WITH EPISODE 4!!!!!!! PLEASE.
Leider nicht die Qualität, die man von Duskwood gewohnt war
Vieles ist nur noch auf Geld ausgelegt (bzw. In der Entwicklung Geld sparen). Die Profil Gestaltung etwa benötigt Diamanten, die Antwortoptionen ebenfalls, pro Wahl teilweise 20 Dias und man bekommt pro Tag nur ganze 3-4. Überwiegend AI Bilder so weit das Auge reicht. Man kann sich die Käufe fürs Profil nicht einmal aussuchen, weil man zufällig einen Rahmen/ Bild/ Hintergrund bekommt. Wäre es so schlimm gewesen wenn man wenigstens ein Geschlecht hätte wählen können? Was soll ich mit einem männlichen AI Chara als Profilbild anfangen, wenn ich eine weibliche Person bin? Richtig, nichts! Dias sind dann weg für eigentlich nichts. Die nächste Wahl im Chat kann ich nicht mehr treffen, weil Dias für besagtes nutzloses Bild ausgegeben wurden. Kaufoptionen viel zu teuer für das was man eigentlich bekommt. Leider enttäuscht es mich, auch wenn die Story sicher toll ist und sich damit bestimmt viel Mühe gegeben wurde… aber man wird ständig durch das Diamanten system ausgebremst und wenn mein Chatpartner ebenfalls ein AI Bild hat na ja,… das ist einfach nicht dasselbe. Bei Duskwood oder anderen vergleichbaren Games wurde es ja auch anders gelöst.

Я очень расстроена( в Дасквуде все было намного проще, а тут этот 3 вряд с пометкой черепа непроходимый!! Ни что не сравнится с Дасквудом, я его проходила не раз и ждала продолжения, но эта часть очень-очень ужасная
