More Than A Method is the place to get all the high quality hair extension education you would ever need! I had learned a new technique on another platform and still after a couple years doing it I couldn’t get my timing down. I watched all the videos on sewing rows and I can’t tell you which exact technique did it, because I just took so much away from it that I saw my timing finally drop to the place I was aiming for.

insane amount of quality education for the price!
I learned so much from the creator’s free content on instagram alone, I wondered how much more I could learn from the paid subscription. The answer: a whole lot.
It’s honestly a steal. Most extensions classes I’ve spent over $2000 on and didn’t feel confident at all afterwards. They never gave much explanation for why we were doing things the way we were told to, so afterwards I was just kind of…doing extensions, without intention behind my actions.
The education on this app has the ability to take you from good to mastery. I’m way more confident in my installs having a firmer grasp of the “why” behind what I’m doing. All the guest educators are amazing, too! So, so thankful for more affordable, HIGH QUALITY extensions education!

Worth it
The best extension education I have invested in. There’s so much more than just extensions on here and the educators are very active on the community tab answering questions. Great for all skill levels. You won’t regret the investment
Dissapointed, total waste of time
To engage with this app at all, they want $250 a month just to be a part of this. I don’t mean to rude, but I feel strongly that our industries need to have free proper education apps. We are an artistic community and need to focus on move the next generation. It’s disheartening when you can’t afford education, but you can go on TikTok and learn how to virtually learn as much as you want. It’s unfortunate that this app is not going to be the platform. It sets out to be.

MTAM is the PERFECT name for this platform
Though I already have been certified in 4 different methods by 5 different companies over my 30+ hairdressing career, I decided to check out MTAM.
Why? I cannot say I was drawn in by any particular visuals (via the social media as we’re all bombarded by that in this industry) as much as I was struck by Christine’s approach.
What she is teaching you is NOT a particular installation method, as much as a way of thinking. Problem solving specifically, but I think critical thinking plays into her method of teaching.
I am not completely through the current video selection (that will take a while as there’s loads of info), but what I appreciate most in MTAM is the information available for you to be able to spot what specific method or approach of installation is best for any given client.(or “Guest” if you prefer)
At the time of writing this, its solely my opinion that a (ONE singular) previous certification would be helpful for you to truly get the most out of this platform (but that’s #justmy2cents).
Christine is open feedback on each video (like sound) , and you also have the ability to ask specific questions, and have open discussion with other artists. (Bonus!)
All in all I’ve found the platform works flawlessly, the lessons are communicated clearly (without overwhelm), and I can honestly say my weft install has improved overall (with being just a few videos in).
I’d have zero problem recommending this platform and MTAM to any extension artist currently looking to really broaden their knowledge of weft installations.
