Must-have app if you are into djembe!
This is a powerful tool if you are serious about learning djembe. Only available on Apple devices, so I switched my android phone to an iPhone. That’s how much I enjoy using this app!

Disappointed
I like the app but what I don’t like is the fact that you don’t get all the rhythms all at once. You only get ten rhythms and then you have to pay additional fees for each set of ten. I don’t recall seeing this information before purchasing, otherwise I might have declined.
Piti Piti Pa costs a dollar less and automatically includes SIXTY-TWO rhythms! No additional purchases...
However, I do like that Mo Rhythm includes the written notation...

Solo phrases and other great features!
If you're serious about practicing djembe and dununs, I *highly* recommend the Mo’Rhythm app. I've had it for a while and just downloaded the new Advanced Rhythms, only to discover that they have added solo phrases, woo-hoo!! Other great features for the 30 rhythms are notations, option to repeat the signal, independent volume control for each part, metronome, and history. I have studied West African drumming for 2 years, and this app is a great compliment to live classes.

The app is great, but when I bought a new iPad I was asked to again for the intermediate files.

Excellent app! I'm a beginner so having a clear and simple app like this is great. You can easily adjust the volume of the other instruments, even turn them off if you wish to play alone. The videos are shot form a good angle so you can see the hand movements clearly. A really nice feature is being able to slow down the beats per minute, then you can increase it as you get better. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have the option to purchase all the videos all at once instead of one at time. Overall a fun and useful piece of software!

Great djembe app!
The incredible Monette Marino's djembe app, MoRhythm, is great for all students of djembe! You can parse drum parts (even dunun bell parts) to hear exactly what combination of things you want.
Fantastic app, highly recommended
I've been playing djembe for about 10 years and wish I'd had this app when I first started! This is a lovely little app, and a really good learning tool. Brilliant for learning the ten rhythms included in the app and fantastic practice play-along material. Each drum part can be quickly heard on its own at one touch and back to the ensemble at another touch, or you can turn on/off the parts you want to hear so you can choose how you practise best. As an experienced player I still use the app for play along material so I can practise soloing at varying speeds and with different rhythms. Notation is also there in two different formats as well as a bit of info about each rhythm. Videos are available as in-app purchases which would be very useful for players who need help with handing, and at 79p per video it's such good value. All in all, a sleek well-thought out app that every beginner djembe player should definitely buy, and one that more experienced players can still get so much out of,and all for a very reasonable price.

Nice app!!
I have two app for djembe. This one doesn't have tab, so you need to listen and learn by ear. But sound is much better than another app which has tab. I hope this app increase more song collection & tab.
Wish it worked
I just downloaded this app. I think it has great potential if it worked. It does not work with my new iPhone 6s. I got it to come on a couple times but only when it feels like it not when I want it to. Very frustrating. I would like a refund or some assistance.
Further help needed
In principle this should be a good app. There is much that is to applauded: the attempt to provide videos, being able to solo any instrument or any combination of instruments, the provision of various forms of notation. However in two areas improvement is needed. The videos take up to much memory: I stopped downloading after finding that the size of videos for just own rhythm was approx 200 mb. My impression is that by careful choice of video format and size smaller videos would be possible; there are plenty of examples of smaller but excellent videos on YouTube. Moreover, I found the videos a little difficult to follow: it may be the angle from which the video is taken or the speed of playing. I find the YouTube videos of Michael de Miranda much better as a teaching aid. A second area where improvement could be made is in the notation section. Some detailed explanation of the details of the notation would be helpful.
