All I can say was for over the last decade I had an issue with apps on my phone distracting me all the time. I decided to try to make a change and I found morning unlock on the App Store. This app has made quitting social media fun with the fact that you can have your friends added and can challenge them. Thank you morning unlock for fixing my mornings and evenings.

Broke the doomscrolling cycle
As a college student, I used to lose the first hour of every morning lying in bed scrolling. Tried alarms across the room, screen time limits, all of it. Nothing stuck because I’d just disable them half asleep.
I never write reviews, but this app actually works. You pick the apps that suck you in and it blocks them in the morning, so when I reach for my phone out of habit there’s nothing to feed the loop. No instagram, no YouTube, nothing. So I just get up. Sounds simple but it broke the cycle in a way that actually works.

What an amazing app. It really helps me stop doomscrolling and it was designed so well, I always feel peaceful unlocking my puzzle each morning. Love the touch of a positive quote when opening the app.
